Every year I get the latest iPhone for one reason only, the camera. I take tons of photos with my iPhone. The biggest issue I have is keeping the phone stable. This causes issues with blurry photos sometimes. Worse, I line up the shot and end up moving the phone just enough as I try and hit the shutter that I lose the framing I wanted.I saw this little gadget on a video on YouTube. It wasn't the focus of the video and was shown in passing but I figured it was worth checking out.I got a chance to try it out while on vacation in Ocean City, MD recently. This is the best gadget I have ever purchased for my phone. I love this thing. There is something about being able to hold my phone with one hand and snap photos like a point-and-shoot that made me want to take more photos. Overall, the photos I took turned out better with the GripTight POV than without it.It is so much easier to keep the photo stable with this on. I also wasn't as nervous that my phone would slip out of my hand.The bluetooth shutter paired quickly the first time and connects super fast since then. I just hold the button for a couple of seconds and it connects. On the iPhone, it stays connected but will control the volume instead of the shutter if I don't use it for a few minutes. Only takes one click to get it to control the shutter again - click it and it shows volume, click again and it controls the shutter again and keeps doing that unless you don't use it for another five minutes or so.I really like that this allows you to hold the camera in two different positions. The first is holding it like a point-and-shot. The second is to hold it by the modular handgrip - this is great when taking video.I liked this so much that I purchased a second one to keep in my car. I might order a third to keep as a spare.

I like this little gadgets options to use as a stand, built in BT receiver, hand grip, horse shoe mount to use with extensions. The remote and mount clip and be removed and interchanged to either end.No issues with connecting BT receiver with phone. Like all BT receivers there is a small delay in which the shutter triggers than if u press shutter button directly on phone. So using only when using Joby as a stand and away shots is when I would recommend using the BT receiver. When using in hand I would just opt to use one hand use and press on screen shutter button. Especially when catching those instant shots of kids, u may miss the shot using the BT receiver. I have had the issue with many BT receivers and not just this one.So it’s great how this one has a comfortable hold for complete one hand use.I would love to see more of a premium feel in a future revised version. The whole unit is plastic, all the tightening screw grips and clips. I just worry over long term use of constantly tightening and loosing it.

Small and simple. No frills.When I needed something to grip on to to phone so I could record riding in an UTV during vacation this was great. I could also take it apart and connect it with tripods and anything else I had on hand. Works great with other Joby products.MSRP price is high and a bit much, but if finding it on sale it is good mount to have in a bag.Also comes with a Bluetooth shutter release. Good plus!

The ease of use is wonderful. The flexibility of this product is so helpful. Although I find the plastic to feel a little flimsy, I know the limitations of it. Being able to remove the handle part and attach to a GoPro housing case is amazing. Small compact handle makes recording so easy. The phone holder to me hold the phone pretty tight. To get the phone in and out of the holder is great and easy.

Handy lil tool that makes recording with my iPhone a painless experience. Not to mention the comfort makes it easy to keep a steady hand while capturing the moment. This also forces folks to record using the right orientation...lol. For the fearful ones out there I can confirm that if your phone falls it won’t be due to the Joby! I was worried about that myself but this keeps a secure “Grip” on your investment.

I own a lot of Joby gear, and this is the worst of them. The handle is loose with the clamp attached, meaning the phone flops whenever moving my hand. This isn’t good.The Bluetooth impulse shutter does not stay connected to the phone, meaning I have to pair it everytime I turn it on. That’s terrible.To be fair, the removable smartphone clamp is good and uses an action mount (not 1/4”), which I haven’t seen from other companies.

A-MAZING! Makes for an adjustable, compact, and reliable travel rig! Love putting this one together for my “just in case” for the day!

great piece of kit that allows you to adapt your phone to other GoPro mount accessories. In other words, it is super flexible for your mounting options with your phone. For the price its a great value.

the product is ok for the price. the instructions are light on detail. it takes a while to figure out what they are saying. but manageable.
