100% Plastic Wizard Card Game

My parents are snow birds and started playing this game over the winter with some acquaintances from the New York City area. It's pretty simple to learn, and even less skilled players can hold their own and even win sometimes, which is why I enjoy it. (My parents tend to kick us kid's butts in other card games) We play several times per month and wore out their first Wizard deck in short order. So, I decided to order the all plastic cards to see if they would last longer. I'm glad I did because they are indeed more durable. The only downside is that they are quite slippery when new, which makes shuffling them more difficult until you get used to them. Also, when you are dealing them, they will literally slide across the table and off the edge if you are not careful. Thankfully, when body oils begin to build up on the deck, the slipperiness subsides.Anyhow, it's a fun card game and I would definitely pick up the plastic ones if you are likely to play it often.

These feel great. Shuffle easy from the first time!If you're not used to plastic cards they are very fast so don't deal them like they are the paper ones.Wish I had seen these years ago! I bought 2 so I can upgrade my parent's deck too.

Five of us neighbors have a weekly card game. The Wizard plastic coated cards get sticky and difficult to deal. I noticed there was an all plastic deck of the card game for a couple of dollars more.Well worth the price, easy to wipe off,easy to shuffle. My friends thought the cards were a little too fast. I think the pros outweigh any con.

I actually love these cards, but... If you’ve ever played with the original set, the cards remain stiff and difficult to shuffle. These plastic cards are easy to manipulate but slippery to hold! Two weeks after I got these cards, one has split close to a corner of the card. 😥

Easy to shuffle, durable, great print - definitely would buy these over the traditional ones agai!. Invest a few extra dollars in a score pad & you'll have a great set!

I wouldn't be able to count the amount of Wizard packs I have bought over the years. Whenever I have travelled I have bought these for anyone I visit and then they continue spreading the word on what a great game it is. Surprisingly, while I am currently in Canada, which is where the game was developed, I find many Canadians are unaware it is their game. I love the large size print and the plastic coated cards but really I would play the game with cardboard cards if need be. Anyone from 8 to 108 can play this and enjoy it.

This game rules!!! This edition has the plastic cards which are perfect.Anyone who likes card games must buy this. It's a great spin on your atypical card game.I've come up with various variations in the rules which just add the fun.
