Equate: Chlortabs Tablets Antihistamine, 100 Ct

I've tried so many drugs for my seasonal allergies. Only Chlorphenamine Maleate works for me. I first noticed it helping me when it was in contac 12-hour tabs. Since then, I buy the 4mg yellow pills (they always seem to be yellow, no matter the brand). No other drug works like these and they're a lot cheaper. Of course, to each his own, but these pills work as good as the name brand (Chlor-Trimeton) and I'll keep buying them as long as I can.

I like this product because if I am sensitive to any food, some dust, or a cat I can take 1/2-1 and chew it up and it has a pleasant taste, and works in about 10 minutes. I have taken Chlorpheniramine Maleate for the past 60 years and find it helps a lot with sensitivities and allergies. I have given small amounts to my kids, my wife uses it for a runny nose, and this formulation does not taste bad; most brands are very bitter and chalky. This is also good before-hand for motion sickness. A full tab can help one get to sleep. It can make some people drowsey during the day; some are sensitive to any antihistamine and can feel dingy or sleepy, or it can be dangerous for them to drive. Works better than Benedryl for most people but check with your doctor before using it. I’ve been taking this allergy medicine for several years now. It’s very effective for Itchy eyes, stuffed nose and over all nasal congestion, and it doesn’t dry your eyes. Even More attractive is the price!

Excellent product at a fair price

I keep these around for acute allergy symptoms...I typically break them in half (easily) and only take half at a time otherwise they make me pretty sleepy, but they work quickly and effectively for itchy eyes and nose, runny nose, and sneezing.

This product is an antihistamine that is good to use during waking hours because it does not make you drowsy.

The one antihistamine that works for me. Juniper season in the Southwest is bad for many people and the Fall bitter Yellow flowers (DYF)-Damn Yellow Flowers, are worse. Chlortabs keep me dry and comfortably breathing with no side effects.

Many years ago, I used an OTC product, call Chlortrimeton, which was the BEST allergy product I had ever used. Subsequently, for some unknown reason, it was no longer on the shelves in any drugstore. After doing some googling, I came across , this product. Even the name Chlor tabs is similar, and even the same color tablet. It works great!!
