These are VERY generous, but great for husky kids. My 5yo is a 10/12 in waist but is only 50 inches tall. This means even many husky cuts are too long in pants. We're can make do with joggers for around the house but the uniform pants for school were a shopping nightmare. I was so grateful to find these. We're ordered the 6 and they're plenty roomy. The quality isn't fabulous (they pill pretty quickly) and they are a little "blousy" in the crotch. But for a mom that doesn't have time to hem and doesn't want to pay the cost for a tailor,these are great. Besides, whomever thought putting 5yos in khakis was a good idea is nuts. He gets them so dirty. But these wash fairly well and for the price, when I can't get a mystery stain out and have to retire a pair I'm not heartbroken.

Super huge ! Yes believe the reviews ! Hard to imagine especially when you have a husky child however these are absolutely ridiculously tremendous! He can’t wear these for at least a few more years . Besides the size issue the package arrived fast and in brand new condition so I would buy from this seller again in other items ! This must have been a severe mistake in sizing by the company

Grandson is difficult to shop for as he is thick in the waist...if the waist fits him, the crotch and inseam is usually ridiculously long and the pant leg look like balloon legs!! These pants however, fit him comfortably in the waist, crotch and inseam is perfect and the legs are a nice slim fit! Bonus was they were a perfect length! I wish they made these husky sizes in the shorts! Grandson,s waist fits a Husky boy's size 16. but crotch and legs size are giant and look foolish...a 14 Husky is about 2 inches too small is the waist, fits in the crotch but would need to be shortened by at least 4 inches. making the legs look stupid! His inseam is 23 inches and waist is 30 inches and the UNIK size 10 husky is A PERFECT FIT!!! Thank goodness for these pants! Until he gets his growth spurt, I now know we have found the perfect uniform pants for this coming fall!!!! Hope this helps!

My son is ten years old, 56 inches tall and 120 lbs. The 10 husky was a bit too big. Probably could have gotten an 8 husky but we don't have time to order another pair before his concert. I wish these came on prime delivery. These are the only black uniform pants that come anywhere close to fitting. They are relatively soft and comfortable compared to other brands we have tried.

These pants are huge! They're good for my kid but I don't if an average kid can fit into them. I checked the size chart and bought a size 8 in navy.
