I've been using this for about a year. I use it as a second desktop, and as for sheet music. Battery life is excellent. I can display sheet music at full brightness for 5 hours without recharging. With the 13" screen and attached keyboard and stylus (extra purchases), this was been a great computer for sheet music. I've had no issues with the Snapdragon ARM processor, except at least one program (TotalRecorder) doesn't generate windows very well and I've had to move to my desktop to use it. Everything else works very smoothly, and the battery life very long, and very little heat transmitted through the case.

Very fast and responsive. A bit on the heavy side (I came from a Surface Go 2) but nothing unmanageable. Screen is very bright and the display quality is great. I do wish it had more than just 2 USB C ports. Even my old Surface Go 2 had a micro SD card slot behind the kickstand.

11/22/24 Microsoft Surface Pro 2-in-1 Laptop/Tablet (2024), Windows 11 Copilot+ PC 16GB - 256GB OLED (amazon version) With the ARM chip it certainly emulates well, when I mean not a PC I meant it's not an intel PC. It stil can not run some software, but it gets close. think of the M1 when that first came out. I wanted this for use as a portable basic PC to be used for work in many aspects. more or less it was mostly for the battery life and OLED. The screen looks amazing. Finally a true OLED screen. I have not exceeded 150GB use. most of my files are in the cloud. Upgrading SSD would be easy, with a wipe and reinstall. upgraded to 24h2 and it was fine. no issues as of today. there are some apps or software that are not compatible. I had issues with issues with VPN software and could not install APPLE TV from Microsoft Store. Surface Pro's are not a "gaming" computer. most peeps online seem to like to compare these systems. It can play some games, as I call them 8bit games, easily, but if you are going for call of duty or cyber punk, try streaming services. streaming games is awesome, where available.
