Works great!
I used the RTC stone on a 10" MK 303 blade that I use for lapidary cutting & slabbing. I cut a lot of jadeite and the blade glazes very quickly. I made a 1" cut into the RTC stone and the blade was cutting like new. The only negative is that there were no instructions for use of the stone. The 1" cut seemed to be plenty for the MK blade.

Great dressing stone
I'm remodeling two bathrooms and the dressing stone extended the life of the wet saw blade to complete an entire bathroom with one blade. I have yet to start the other bathroom but I feel it already paid for itself without the need to purchase another tile saw blade.

Works great
I used this stone quite often and works great. As soon as I see some chipping on my porcelain tile cuts I run through this dressing stone a few time and it eliminates the chipping for at least another 15 cuts.Recommend it for people that want perfect tile cuts.

Does the Job
The red dressing stone I received is smaller and harder than the blue "True Blue" stone I replaced it with. The original "True Blue" stone is apparently no longer made. This red one works fine and takes fewer passes to do the job, so the smaller size seems to be an OK tradeoff.I've found a dressing stone is more efficient--quicker-- than substituting a cement block, brick, piece of granite or chunk of thinset to recondition a tile blade. The composition of the matrix that holds the diamonds on a tile blade is a big factor in determining how long the blade stays "sharp" and how quickly it can be restored to "like new" cutting action. If the matrix wears away at just the right rate it will take very little effort for the blade to cut through the material because old diamonds fall out and new ones become exposed. If the matrix doesn't wear away fast enough diamonds are dislodged but new ones aren't exposed quickly enough, and those that remain become rounded and/or "glazed." A dull blade cuts slowly. Put too much pressure on it to speed things up and it will begin to deflect and not follow a line. Tiles can crack unexpectedly.A tile blade has to wear down to remain effective. The trick is to find the sweet spot between blade life and cutting effort.Depending on the material being cut and your blade's composition, your tile blade may never dull. If it does, a dressing stone like this one is the fastest way to get it back in shape.

Not sure yet.
Be advised, this block is very small. I expecte something twice as big. I don't see how it can last very long and haven't tried it yet, but I have my doubts. Will update. If it does what is supposed to do for one job only, my tiling wet saw blade for my upper bath neno, it will have paid for itself.

Brought a Dead Blade Back to Life!
This stone was perfect for keeping my KD Diamond 4" diamond tipped blade sharp. I'm tiling our master shower with 12x24 glazed ceramic tiles and I was able to keep the blade sharp to get relatively clean cuts. I'm no pro but it was good enough for me. I ran the blade through the stone every few cuts. I noticed after doing several rip cuts (the full 24" length of the tile) that the blade still wasn't working all that great (sluggish, had to apply a lot of pressure which led to cracked tile) so I put it through the stone 3 or 4 times and voila! Back to making good, clean, quick cuts. The only downside is the red color stained our deck where I was making the cuts but with water and a scrub brush it came off well enough. Come spring/summer time I'll pressure wash the deck like I do every year and it'll be gone for good. Something to consider it you're working at someone else's house.

Does not work well
Disappointed in the product. No instructions and have to use up half the block just for an average sharpening

Terrible product!!!!
I gave the review 1 star because it wouldn't accept 0 stars. The stone doesn't sharpen the blade whether you sharpen it wet or dry. It tends to crumble into a soft pliable mess. Not impressed! I want a refund!
