Our house is very old-built in 1895! The staircase is chestnut as are all the window and door casings! We have all the original light fixtures and some stained glass windows. It was important to us to restore the home to its original glory. The stain stick is so very good and easy to use and did the trick! The color match was perfect and helped us restore our home. I highly recommend this product, in fact, I ordered a back-up! Buy 2 not 1 as you'll love it!

My dogs scratch the crud out of our hardwood floors and it drives me insane. This product does wonders to fill in the scratches make them almost invisible and give me peace of mind so I don’t have to stress every time I hear them sliding across the floor. I like that you draw it on, it fills in the cracks accordingly and then you wipe off excess so it looks extremely natural.

Application is great but, staying power is not so great with areas of a surface that get more use.

Used this to cover up marks on a new coffee table from dog scratches on coffee tables and molding! The really good thing about this product is that though there are multiple colors it seems that the color you chose can be used on multiple kinds of wood, even with varying color. It seems to blend well and do the job even IF the color of the wood you are re-staining is not the same.NOTE: it takes a while to shake up, don't get discouraged if it doesn't come out right away (that's what she said!) ;) :D

I got this product to cover some scratches in my vinyl floor. The results are awesome. At first sight, you cannot see the scratches. 100% recommended.

I live in an apartment duplex and every year maintenance checks to make sure smoke alarms are working, people aren’t hoarding or making meth labs in the basement, etc. Well I have a cat that loves to use the old oak doors as a scratching post and has dug pretty deep into the door. Guessing, I bought the dark walnut and you can barely tell my cat attacked it. (The grooves from her scratching are there but much much much less noticeable unless you squat down to inspect the door) Wish I could have taken some before/after photos but I didn’t want any evidence of what my cat did, lol hope this helps.

Great for touchups

I bought this to conceal some scratches in my maple flooring. It easily covered the light scratches and made them blend in - however the deeper scratches it wouldn’t “soak in” and cover them as well. It had a hard time penetrating the wood.
