It was a pain in the butt to put together but I think it’s because I went strong independent woman and did it by myself. I’d definitely recommend putting it together with somebody because the parts are heavy. It’s nice quality and stores a bunch of stuff. I haven’t needed to use the extending table part but it does seem kind of weird how the pieces hold it up. Either way I really like it and recommend!

Two packages (quite heavy) were delivered for free in record time. Easy, self-explanatory assembly sheet, easy to follow to install with some help (2 people). Must follow exactly the assembly sequence, or else. Pre-drilled holes for sufficient hardware offered. It would have been nicer if seller provided caps to cover exposed screw holes about.Solid casters / wheels are covered in soft rubber, protecting hardwood or ceramic floors, with two lockable wheels.Rubber Tree topside is solid wood that gives coordinated color with Black furniture. Spacious two-side storage cabinet and double drawers with aesthetic knobs gives both practicality and style.Great purchase complementing a modern kitchen with an alternative island and storage solution.

The door hinges are adjustable. This helps a lot with the assembly. We didn’t use the spice rack or towel rack. I didn’t like how they would stick out. I changed out the wheels for wood feet. I think it looks really awesome. It fit our space perfectly. Some holes were missing. I used a bit to make pilot holes. The drawers don’t have metal slides. The missing holes, some parts where paint was chipped, and lack of drawer glides are why I took away 1 star.

Great product that seem to be well built, took a bit of time to set up, the instructions are very basic with only pictures but if you follow it closely you should not have any problems. It took me a couple of hours to set up, could have been a bit quicker but I was working on it on a Sunday afternoon while the games were on so I was not working very fast.Once setup was complete it is a real beautiful unit and a good size, it is also very sturdy. The top and the leaf are made from real high quality wood.When setting up make sure to tighten the screws just tight enough, its better to use a regular screwdriver and not any type of power tools; that way you can guage how tight the screws are. You do not want to under tight or it may end up being wobbly, you also do not want to over tight and strip any screws which would also cause the same effect. Once you set it up right it is a very solid and beautiful unit.

This Island is gorgeous and looks great in my kitchen. The assembly was a little time consuming (4-5 hours) but mainly because the screws to put it together with were pretty cheap and kept breaking on us making us having to go and find replacements. In the end it turned out beautiful and sturdy. We purchased the stools along with it and ilove it. Very happy with it.

Just started putting this together and got to step 2. The wooden screws provided do not fit the holes!!!The screws are to big. I tried to call customer service and there number is unavailable, same thing with the website, shows as an error page . I sent a complaint through Amazon but they are just robots can't actually talk to someone. They robot reached out to seller and wait a few days to gear back. Not to confident in that.So yea spent $300+ and I can't continue past step 2 and unsire if ALL thr screws provoded are like this. VERY UPSET !!!! BEWARE...

We downsized to a smaller home. The kitchen had no island but was big enough to accommodate this cart. The instructions could use improvement but I manage to put it together. One wooden rod that fits on the end with the storage shelf was missing. It was easy to replace. The locking wheels are a must have but it's also nice to be able to move it easily. Provides a good size work space and you can never have too much storage in the kitchen.

Directions were useless, pieces didnt match and the "study construction" was particle board that crumbled when we tried to put the screws in. Dont waste your time or money on this item, there have to be better options out there...We are now out 300 bucks and the island is probably a total loss.Junk product. End of storyHOWEVER- Customer service was very fair, prompt and professional. Offered us a full refund (which we accepted) so although this product did not meet our expectations, customer service from this company was top notch and very responsive!
