Effectiveness in question
Considering complaints of this product about its strong odor, I thought it would be wise to do some research first. Here was what I found regarding "Can pouches containing a blend of citronella oil , cedarwood oil, lemongrass oil, clove oil, and geranium oil effectively repel bed bugs?" The answer was "Short answer: Pouches with that blend may offer mild deterrence—but they’re unlikely to repel bed bugs effectively on their own." Furthermore: Bed bugs are stealthy - they hide deep in crevices and only emerge when they detect body heat and carbon dioxide. Passive scent pouches may not reach them. Essential oils evaporate quickly. Without a carrier or sustained release system, the scent fades fast. No peer-reviewed evidence supports pouch-based essential oil blends as a reliable bed bug repellent. So, at best, these pouches could be part of a layered prevention strategy in travel kits. If you're sensitive to scents or need an effective solution to beg bug problems, then you most likely need to look else where.

It seems to work
Bedbug packets that seems to work. I specifically used them for a recent trip to a hotel i had not been to before. I used it more as a deterrent even if there were no signs of bedbugs just to be safe. The pouches were fairly straight-forward to use and no bedbug attack (even though i did not see signs of bedbugs). The scents were okay. could be a bit strong for some folks but didn't bother be too much.
