Part works great!
This was definitely cheaper to purchase from Amazon versus a RV parts store. It’s working and appears we were sent an upgraded part. Very happy with our purchase. Now everything in our camper is working just right.

Fit Perfectly
I was very anxious about this repair, but i went slowly and took photos at each step. Everything fit perfectly, all the holes lined up and in the end it was not overly complicated. Only thing not ready “out of box” was the crimp connector for the converter positive out, but i suppose there are multiple configurations out there. I recommend you use a good crimp tool, not the cheap ones that are part of a wire stripper. You want this connection to be good.

Install it Yourself
If you have a Torx T20 driver (for the front panel), basic screwdrivers, and a wire stripper, you're all set.If you're replacing a 7345 converter, be advised the 45RU is one-half inch deeper. Make sure you have clearance.Follow the enclosed simple instructions carefully, and make sure all connections are tight when finished. After testing installation, I was satisfied with the electrical results. However, when the 45RU was charging the batteries, an amazing amount of RF radiation was emitted. My am-band radio went nuts. I believe the FCC has regulations about this, and apparently this was not addressed by the manufacturers. Your campground neighbors listening to am radio within 100 feet will not be happy when you're plugged in.Four stars because of depth clearance (I had to do some Brogan re-arranging) and RF interference.Otherwise, the 45RU works as advertised.
