Can it handle a 16 pound cat?

Yes, most defiantly. The frame is constructed of all metal, and the hammock portion is a heavy but comfortable fabric.

is it machine washable

The fabric is machine washable; however, you would need to completely unscrew the entire bed and take it apart in order to machine wash the fabric.

Can I get a replacement fabric/hammock? The one I received is too big and touches the floor.

The sellers are super helpful. I’m sure if you reached out to them they would happily send you a replacement. Pictures would be helpful for them to know what the issue is
