Flea and Tick Collar for Dogs - Pack of 2 for 12 Months of Protection - Waterproof, Durable Dog Collar - Flea and Tick Prevention for Dogs (Large)

Buyer beware...Just bought these collars and put them on my dogs today. I bought a 2pack for my 100 lb yellow lab. I also bought a 2 pack for our 35 lb puppy. I had to measure their necks before ordering because there are different sizes of collars. Well the smaller collar comes in a large metal tin, and the larger collar comes in the smaller metal tin. So I made the mistake of assuming the larger collar was in the larger metal tin. The tins are clearly marked “Large” and “Small”, so it was my own stupid fault for assuming the larger collar was in the larger tin and the smaller collar was in the small tin. So I ended up using both large collars and need to order more large collars in 6 months. However I am good for another year with the smaller collars. Why do they package the large collars in a smaller container? Makes no sense to me but hey, I’m the dummy who didn’t read the label on the front of the tin. Also there were directions in the small tin but no directions in the large tin.

My older larger boxer mix seems to be flea free and the collar is hopefully doing the trick. It's only March now in Texas so the fleas aren't really that active yet. We'll see. As for my Irish Jack he seems to be allergic to it,, has been scratching himself a lot even though there aren't any fleas we can see. I removed the collar and the scratching has subsided quite a bit. We'll have to find another solution for him.

I’ve always purchased the “seresto” Dog collars and they have been great. This one is very similar for the price but you can tell it’s a bit cheap. The material itself has a little bit of a powdery coat over top of it. Its definitely not as strong but I really it’s really great for the price and I highly recommend to pet owners!

After reading some of the reviews, I was skeptical to even try this collar, but money was tight so I thought I'd give it a shot. It worked great for my 10 year old long haired and my 3 year old short haired dogs. I've used vet brands, k9 advantix, which is the only one that worked on my 10 year old dog, and the seresto collar. The cost and jumping thru hoops just to keep my dogs healthy was getting harder to do. I'm so grateful it worked, for the price you can't beat it. My 3 year old boy has skin problems also, so I was relieved to see it didn't bother him. Thanks for this low priced collar that works.

No fleas or ticks. So far the are working great and no side effects. A very good product. Ok time has gone by and the issue is the collar has to have substance to it. It broke. Remind you I don't have an attack dog wearing just a playful beagles. But the collar it's self seems to deter fleas and ticks.

I can’t give this product a real review as it made my dog sick. That’s not saying it will make your dog sick, however it made my dog lethargic after a few days. I took the collar off for a few days and she bounced back, out it back in and two days later same response. Received great customer service regarding the problems I had.

I was surprised with the packaging, but even more impressed with how fast and effective the collars are. this is the only brand i will buy moving forward. By the end of the evening, after I fitted the collars, my dogs were not scratching or biting anymore.... I kept the trimmed off ends, and used them under the bed and under the couch. Salvo is amazing stuff. It arrived rapidly, so this is going to the top of my repeat purchase list....

I bought 4 of these collars for my 4 inside dogs. They are very thin and cheaply made, and they do not protect my dogs from fleas. My dogs are still constantly scratching themselves, and I've seen several fleas on them. I should have returned them when I first opened them, since they are so flimsy. I thought they were going to break when I first tried to latch each one around my dogs' necks. This purchase was a waste of money. Seresto and Rolf 3D collars are much better, and for the price, I would buy Rolf.
