I bought this to use my collection of legacy cans/earbuds with my new phone. I've only used it a handful of times because I mostly stick with Bluetooth for convenience.Out of the box, the body of the 3.5mm jack would slide off when unplugging the adapter. It seems the threads are either slightly too small, or just stripped. Since the dongle worked otherwise, I decided not to bother with a return. That was a mistake, because now I'm unable to get sound unless I hold the cable at a specific angle.I'm pretty forgiving and was willing to overlook the the device coming apart, as long as it still worked. However, it is now useless. I find myself two weeks past the return period, and most of that time this dongle sat unused in my desk drawer.For the price, I didn't expect it to last forever. But only three or four actual uses? I like a good value as much as the next person, but sadly this is just another piece of disposable electronics destined for a landfill.I generally don't take the time to leave negative reviews, but couldn't in good conscience ignore this. Caveat emptor.

I used this to as an adapter to attach 3.5mm male audio plugs into a USB-C female plug for my smartphone.The 3.5mm male plug does not fit all the way, flush into the 3.5 female plug & often gets dislodges my audio cable out of the female plug - so if I'm not careful I can nudge the connection loose & lose sound- until I replace it- an annoyance.Otherwise, if I don't lean onto the cord, it works, & does ehatyI bought it for.Poor design & engineering & lack of working-model testing (they'd see that it doesn't fit properly) of this adapter lost it 2 stars for me.

I bought this a couple months back for my essential phone. It worked ok for a while, but as often happens my headphone wire got caught on a door handle and pulled my headphones out of the adapter. Well that was it of the adapter. I just bought a replacement from Changeek. I didn't have high hopes, however it has a braided cable like the adapter that came with my phone so I imagine it will hold up better, time will tell. The thing I really like about my new adapter is the sound quality. In addition to this adapter being very flimsy the sound quality it delivers is very poor. If you think I'm some kind of shill, get both and return the loser.

I can confirm that this adapter works for the iPad Pro 2018 - 11 inch.

How do you get away with selling such an absolutely low quality garbage product for this price range? I guess if your business model is to try to sell to as many initial suckers as you can and then not have anymore customers again that works. This adapter basically started giving static and breaking up after about a week of regular use mainly in the gym. There was couple of minor low force tugs on it as I was doing my lifts but nothing as bad as I used to do with the original adapter that came with my phone and that thing was working just fine with zero static until I lost it. The quality of this thing is absolutely atrocious. DO NOT BUY THIS. I already burned my money for your sake so try to find a different higher quality one, especially at $12++.

So far so good! It feels good quality, and I can confirm it fully works with my Pixel 3 XL and a pair of Galaxy headphones. Everything works fine (volume buttons, middle buton), and good audio quality.

I ordered this online, knowing there were mixed reviews but hoping I would get a good one. As it turns out however it was broken from day one. Every few minutes it began to explode in static before then exploding to a volume higher than my phone has ever gone before (seriously, it somehow managed to jump HIGHER than my maximum volume). To to fix it I have to eject the cord and replug it in, but then 3 minutes later it does it again. It does this so often and with such regularity that it is completely unuseable.I do not recommend buying this item at all.

This item worked great for a week and then stopped working. I was going to return the item but decided it wasn't worth the time and effort.Edited my review to add the item I purchased was a USB C headphone adapter. Looking at other reviews some of them seem to be for some other sort of item.
