This product is excellent for dry itchy skin. Some clients of mine have pets with flakey skin. After using this a few times the flakes were gone. I’ll be keeping this in stock. The smell is sweet and sassy in my opinion. Not too overpowering and subtle but noticeable. I am pleased with this product.

So far so good. My black lab has very bad flaking on her back. Already tried a couple different oatmeal shampoos and none really helped. Also tried using a conditioner too which didn't seem to help. I figured I would try this medicated (expensive) shampoo and see how it does. After 2 baths I can see a difference. Who knows, maybe it is because the weather is a little more humid recently or the shampoo. All I know is that she is getting better. This stuff smells great, it lathers VERY well and leaves her coat pretty soft without any conditioner.Update. After 4 baths, Her flaking is totally gone.

My 9 year old poodle has chronic itching/scratching spots on her chest. A 10-minute shampoo (just her chest) about once a week helps her a lot. Not perfect, but much better.

My doggo has skin issues and is constantly scratching, this shampoo seems to be giving him some relief so far!

As a groomer, I have used many of the Natures Specialties products and I have not found one that I dislike! The Colloidal Oatmeal is my go to for general use because I haven't found a dog yet that has any issues with it. It smells good and definitely helps relieve itchy skin, you can use regularly without worrying about drying out the skin. Be careful using on the face because it does burn if it gets in the eyes. Hey call me crazy but I tested the tiniest amount in my eye and it doesn't burn as bad as some but it definitely makes you extra careful around their eyes if you know how it feels. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this shampoo and this brand!!!

This is a fantastic smelling product that came highly recommended by our vet tech who grooms on the side. We have a Goldendoodle and they are harder to care for so this was the next item to try. Anyways, the shampoo came in the mail and when I opened the package, there was shampoo everywhere....it had leaked out through the lid and made a huge mess in the bag and I lost a decent portion to the trash because of this spill. Things cost too much money to be just tossing in the trash. There has to be a better way to ship something like shampoo other than just tossing it in a bag. The conditioner I ordered from another company was in a plastic bag and wrapped to keep it stable in the box. Maybe better packaging would help.

Wow! I bought this because our Chihuahua/Beagle mix has such dry, itchy skin (no fleas or allergies). The hardest part is letting it sit for 10 minutes then same with the cream rinse. But, in the end it is worth it. Added benefits I didn't plan on are the yummy scent and how incredibly soft it leaves his coat! Since the results were so good I went ahead and used it on all four of our dogs to benefit them. They all got much softer and itch less in general. It was worth the expense and I'll stick to this line from now on.

Es buen champoo pero; no sirve para perros con parches de calor y picazón. NO COMPREN DE AVENA busquen a la Dr. Karen Becker y lean al respecto. Solo recomendado para perros que NO tienen problema de piel. Les servirá bien.

Hands down the best shampoo I've ever used on my Pomeranian. The smell is great and the results are better than I could have hoped for. We ordered it via Prime and it arrived by mail the next day!Our pom was suffering from dry, flaky skin after a bad haircut. After reading the reviews online I decided to give it a try and I was not disappointed. I'm actually convinced that this company cannot make a bad product! The smell and texture of our dogs' coat after a bath is delightful and lasts for weeks. I highly recommend this product and have been telling my grandmother, my mother (die-hard Wahl fans), and anyone who will listen how great this product is.I used this shampoo flowed by Nature's Specialties Oatmeal Crème Rinse (conditioner) and the results were fantastic. Nature's Specialties also sell grooming sprays which are great for pre-bath brush outs and general maintenance in between grooming. These products are worth the money, trust me!
