Oaths and Omissions (Deluxe Edition) (Monsters & Muses, 3) Review: GREAT SERIES! - My 2nd read in Ms. Miller’s series. Her character development is top notch, storyline is PERFECTION & the sex? YUMMY! Review: this seems like the most stable couple in the series - solid 4⭐️ probably leaning towards a 4.25 or 4.5⭐️ Lenny is the face of her family, always making sure to leave a good impression to the public and please her parents. After being assaulted she realizes her family doesn’t share the same dedication to her as she does to them. Trying to heal from her past she strikes a bargain with the local bad boy, Jonas. Who happens to be a hired hit man and also the man who tried to kill her dad twelve years ago. This book had plenty of drama and a lot of issues for the main characters to overcome but I was consistently shocked by how well the characters seemed to handle it. This doesn’t necessarily mean that they should have accepted or approved of it and maybe it’s because Lenny seemed a bit more unbothered or perhaps unhinged than the last two FMCS but she really wasn’t phased by a lot of the things that would’ve made most FMCs run. It truly shocked me how little she reacted to some of the events that took place and just let it roll off her back. Their relationship seemed to be pretty smooth, I think that’s part of why it’s not 5 ⭐️ because I kind of like the chaos, it makes it more memorable. HOWEVER, it was so refreshing to have characters who didn’t freak out over everything. For example in most books if one of them is keeping a secret or does something behind the others back it becomes a major conflict with these two it really didn’t matter for more than a page or two. The ease may also have to do with how this one is written, there were several chapters where it ends and you think the next one will pick up where it left off but it doesn’t it skips a few hours or even days so we never see either of them really get mad at each other, it’s like the conversation dies until one of them decides to open up. I’m constantly surprised to find that I like each FMC more than the last, I loved Elena and Riley but I really liked Lenny’s character. Of the three she’s been the most relatable in personality, at least to me because she seems more reserved and antisocial. Jonas was fantastic and was more forthcoming with his feelings toward her where I feel Kal and Aiden resisted a bit more. This is where my hiccup comes in though because I liked Jonas and Lenny but because it was smooth sailing in their relationship the after effects weren’t as explosive as Kal and Elena and Aiden and Riley.

Lenny and Jonas' story is dark and spicy and will leave you on the edge of your seat
RATING: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ STEAM: 🔥🔥🔥🔥 When you crave something dark and spicy to read, Sav R. Miller's Muses and Monsters series will not disappoint. The third book gives us Jonas and Lenny's story, and the twists and turns will leave you on the edge of your seat. Lenny Primrose wants out of her house. Ever since she came home after an extended stay in Vermont, she has felt numb and suffocated, having to play the perfect princess role in the spotlight. Unfortunately, when a plan to put some distance between herself and her overbearing family dropped on her lap, it came with a price: to fake a relationship with Jonas Wolfe. If you've read the other books in the series, we've met Jonah before as Dr. Kallum Anderson's assassin protégé. Now working independently, it turns out that the student is more ruthless than the teacher, and he is thirsty for vengeance. What I have always loved and continue to love about Sav R. Miller's books is that she takes the most irredeemable villains and creates an arc that does not really change who they are but yet we fall in love with them anyway. From start to finish, Jonas remains the prickly, blood-thirsty hitman, but yet as the story unravels, he develops a charm that has us rooting for him, blushing at his witty comebacks, and sighing at his dirty, dirty ways. Lenny is no damsel in distress, and I love it. She takes charge of her own destiny, she is unapologetically impulsive, and she is equally courageous and reckless enough to go toe-to-toe with someone as ruthless as Jonas. This is a dark, graphic, and violent read, so check the CW/TW list before diving in. However, if that is your jam, do not pass on this book. Do not pass on this series. Sav R. Miller's Muses and Monsters world is a must-visit for any dark romance fan.

5 STARS 4 CHILI PEPPERS I gave this book a 5 stars because I absolutely LOVED this book! Jonas Wolfe and Lenny Primrose were EVERYTHING! I became instantly attached to them both early on. (Like I did with Kal and Elena.) Plus the amount of tension they had throughout the entire book was hotttt! I honestly loved every second of this book and I really wish I could have the ability to read this book for the first time again! (Just like I wish I could do the same for Promises and Pomegranates! Because honestly, my obsession with P&P is insane.) Additional Note: I absolutely LOVED this book as well since ur had cameos of Kal & Elena plus one of Riley! I really like how Sav includes her characters from previous books into her new books in this entire series. (Especially since I become attached to the characters by the end of each one of Sav's books.) Monsters & Muses Couples Ranked: 1. Kal & Elena 2. Jonas & Lenny 3. Aiden & Riley Favorite Quote/Scene: "This wasn't your battle to win." "That pain was mine, and you commandeered it. Stole it from me, and for what?" "Because I bloody love you!" (This scene had me crying yet kicking my feet!!)

This book was so good! I swear each book in this series gets better and better. I found Lenny to be one of the most relatable characters I’ve read in a long time. Things that she struggled with with her family are things that I have struggled with and it was nice to see some of my own insecurities written out. I loved Jonas so much! I’ve been excited to read his book for awhile and I am so glad I finally did. I kind of wish we had a bit more of Kal and some more of Elena bonding with Lenny. But I still loved this book regardless. The way Lenny and Jonas balanced each other out and the spicy moments !!! LOVED!!!!

Ok, I only want to say: Jonas and Lenny are made for each other. I bloody love them Ah and other thing, Alistair can have my heart or body

This is the third book and it was hot and dirty and so messy that i just loved it. Helene and Jonas are both violent and impulsive making their chemistry rocket fire and also how unique Helene is. Jonas and his soft side is swoon worthy. A fast and entertaining read.
