Poly & BARK Napa 88.5" Sofa – Cocoa Brown Full-Grain Pure-Aniline Italian Leather, Feather-Down Cushioning, Kiln-Dried Solid Wood Frame, Walnut Legs

I was back and forth between this sofa and another brand at another retailer that used spring-loaded sofa cushions. They both have solid wood frames and leather everywhere (both VERY important for longevity) and was leaning a bit towards the spring-loaded sofa cushions based on some of the reviews for this sofa indicating the cushions had gone flat fairly quickly. What changed my mind to this sofa was recognizing that I can have the cushions re-stuffed with higher quality foam relatively inexpensively if/when they break down vs having springs eventually poke through the leather of a cushion. The fact the chase/sofa went on sale for under $2k for the first time in my watching it for over two years created the 'right now' buying decision. Assembly was simply a matter of screwing the legs in (and make sure to differentiate the corner legs from the center legs - they are different lengths) and attaching the two pieces together with the pre-attached clasps. The leather looks fantastic and I fully expect this to last as long as our current leather sofa, which we've had for about 25 years. Another thing I like about this sofa that led to the demise of our current leather sofa is it had the back cushions stitched to the sofa, so there was no back to the cushion. As the stitching eventually (with pets and kids) tore away, the cushions according to three different furniture repair people in the area couldn't be reattached easily or affordably. This sofa having fully removable back and seat cushions is a benefit. The final selling point about this style was that is sits about five inches off the ground, allowing our little robot vacuum to clean underneath it. I've included one pic showing the zippered 'container' on the bottom of one sofa where the legs are stored for transport, which I thought was pretty creative. I also tried to grab an image of the wood exposed where the legs screw in, but it appears to be to washed out for detail; it should show the all-wood (rather than 'manufactured wood') construction providing better strength and resilience. ***Four month update and pics - the sofa is doing fantastic. It's used by our dogs (weights between 60 lb - 130 lb, because anything under 50 lb is a cat) much more than us: it's a springboard, a wrestling mat, a lounging appliance and a sleeper. To be fair, we have had a cover on the sofa since we purchased it (off today for a washing), but it still looks new. A few feathers are starting to escape, which isn't a surprise. Very impressed with this leather couch/chaise. The leather and stitching are both thick and of fine quality. The character of the leather is naturally distressed, giving it an authentic look and feel. There’s no question that this is real leather. It is a matte texture, not a shiny formal leather commonly found in chesterfield couches. Very sturdy, easy to put together. Took about 10 minutes to screw on the legs once I got it inside. Though I will say the packaging makes it very unlikely to get it fully boxed through a standard sized doorway. I simply had it delivered to the garage, unboxed the two pieces one at a time and put the legs on inside. Cushions are very comfortable. I really like that the back support cushions are fluffy and full. It has a more casual look than if both the back and seat cushions were tufted. I also like that the seat cushions, while tufted for aesthetic interest, do NOT have buttons that can get caught on clothing and rip off. Seat buttons also collect and hide “ungettable” crumbs. And no one wants to sit on that. Both seat and back cushions are removable, but not reversible. Legs and frame are very sturdy. The perfect couch for my casual midcentury modern abode.

Moved into a new spot and needed a new couch, I wanted something nice this go 'round, so I did a ton of research. Poly & Bark has this beautiful color that would work well with most of our living rooms items, so I was sold. I visited their website several times, but finally found it on Amazon. Score! The delivery was so fast (2 days, I think) and the 2 gentlemen that delivered it, were polite and finished the set-up in minutes. This couch is beautiful, comfortable, durable and pretty light for the size. It's solid, but my husband and I can lift it pretty easily. I have slept on it, spilled water on it, splattered butter on it and got some sort of sticky stuff on it. (Yes, it's where we sometimes eat.) Everything has cleaned up without a trace. I have not treated it with anything. I love this couch. I'll be buying an ottoman for the other side. I only have 1 small complaint - the back pillows are not leather on the back side. I would love to be able to turn them around from time to time. For now, I'll just shuffle them around. We're almost 6 ft, so we needed a couch that we could sit on without feeling like we were shrinking into it or onto the floor. It's very firm, for the comfort level. This is the one! You won't regret buying it.

I purchased this piece for the foot of my king-sized bed. The size is just right, looks beautiful, and is comfortable to sit on. I was a little skeptical of the quality given the price when I ordered it, but it is truly well made. The leather is high quality and the stitching is done well. I highly recommend.

The leather is truly beautiful. Priced very well. Easy to put on the legs. Comfortable to sit on. Not meant for kids to jump on.

This is a very attractive piece. I have it situated at the end of a king sized bed and the scale is ideal. It does flex when I sit on it to put boots/shoes on and I’m only 215 so, I wouldn’t recommend it as a functional piece and thus the reduced star but as far as decorative, it is very attractive and serves well as a place to leave folded throws or to place excess pillows. -easy to assemble -weight relative to scale -excellent scale for end of bed -do not recommend for seating

I debated for over a month before purchasing this couch. Read lots of reviews and also went to companies website to check them out. Couch came in nice condition. Was left on my driveway by delivery. My husband and my brother-in-law brought it into the home, because it was extremely heavy. This product is quality. It is heavy because it is made of solid materials. It’s a little stiff when sitting down on it, but I appreciate that- eventually it will get softer with use. The black color is amazing and I love the mid-century modern style. My husband was a skeptic about buying something online, especially furniture. He is sold, and loves this couch.

The leather is good and sturdy. Respect it by taking care of it I slept on it for two weeks....Its comfortable. You can turn over or remove the cushions. Mine is 88. inches long so I can stretch out on it. Its a beautiful couch and it will never go out of style. The cognac color is warm. Amazon Delivers with this product! I 💕 it!
