Great look and finish. High quality. Great case.
Like everything about it, but mine broke about a foot from the tip for no apparent reason. I must have hit the ground while setting up.

bomb proof
I've had this fly rod for about 6 years, its the reddington Tempt 3 wt 6 piece rod. I have used it everywhere from mountain lakes and streams in the sierras to salmon fishing in Alaska. I lived in Alaska for 3 years and worked as a fish biologist where i flew around in helicopters and bush planes. I needed something small (hence the 6 piece) that i could throw in the heli and pack along with me. I started out mostly fishing small stuff like bows and grayling but then I tried this little guy out on some coho salmon to really test its durability. I caught 10 pound salmon on this thing and had it fully bent in half with no issues. This rod is super durable as I knock the shit out of my gear and this thing is in great shape still. I can cast this rod very well despite its durability it has enough sensitivity to feel 6'' trout or smaller. The 3 weight is good for small trout and I am super impressed with this rod. I wish they made a 6 piece 1 weight or 2 weight for more action in the mountain streams. Anyways if your looking for a decent durable rod look no further as I have truly tested this rod in every aspect for the past 5 years.

Awesome Rod - Good Feel
I purchased this as my first ever fly rod about 1 month ago. It has been great so far and is catching me trout. Excellent rod for beginners, it is more medium action and has more feel than my friends Orvis Clearwater, which I feel has helped me to learn faster. Still very capable of casting 40-50ft+ even with my limited skill. Only complaint is that the first line guide closest to the base is smaller diameter than Orvis rods, I feel this adds unnecessary friction and makes it slightly tougher to shoot line. Very marginal complaint though.
