Smartish GZ23M-BLACK - Phone Case

Another iPhone and another smartish. Holds the phone together. I can't count how many times the phones have landed on the ground - zero damage. I recommend it!

I purchased this case having used phone rebel for the last two years. This case does not disappoint. It is very grippy and does not show any marks or fingerprints. This will be my go to case from now on. And once the wood grey coloured one comes back into stock I will be purchasing it and reviewing it on my YouTube channel. Very please well done Smartish 5 Stars.

The shape of the case is ok, but not much friction on the surface since it’s just hard plastic, and not a rubbery surface. The edge on the camera lens protection is too low as well.

It’s perfectly in hand. Maybe camera lip needs to be higher (compared to a Nomad, Ringke case). Corner bumps make it easier to grip, so does the wavy sides. Love the texture! For the texture and feel in hand alone I use this case more than the Nomad. Cheaper, too!

Excellent. Snug fit. Tough plastic bumper. The best thing to me is that it easy to grip the case but does not stick pocket fabric so it is easy to retrieve and put away.

This case is great. With the finger indents on the sides it is very comfortable and feels like there is no way it is slipping out of your hand. Buttons all work well. Air cushion corners seem like a good idea. Case fits very nicely. And you get a couple of screen protectors for $1 shipping when you go to their website. Overall very happy with this.

Amazing

This is replacing a 'better' brand as the other was constantly pressing on the action button. I since found out that apparently there changes to the button location between leaks and release time on the phones... I digress.. Point is, was somewhat apprehensive about how this one would work out. I am very happy to say that the reviews were spot on, the case fits extremely well. A bit on the snug-side when trying to remove the phone, but this will also lessen the chance of the phone dropping out of the case. If I had to criticize, I would say the in-built magnets could be stronger like some other cases that allow the phone to be attached to metal surfaces like fridges, white-bords, etc... This however is just a nice-to-have as so far mounts and chargers I have tested all held the unit strongly. Another and last criticism would be the camera pod protective surround. Would have been great to have it a 'smidgen' higher and have the opposing three corners (of the case) raise to sit flat on surfaces. Again.... these two are only nit-picking for those that are thinking 'but there must be something wrong with it'. Have not yet dropped the phone, so cannot comment on how it handles drops, but it truly is a sturdy case, especially on the corners, so I assuming (and hoping) that it is as good as the claims are. Last worthwhile note, I am aware that some cases do not play well with screen-protectors. I am happy to say I was able to apply a screen protector without any obstruction from the case. The raised edges are also 'tall' enough to also protect the screen protector yet still not be intrusive for operation. Last but not least, for those coming from more 'rubberized' and /or soft-ish cases (like myself), getting used to the harder, 'plasticky' feel of the back will feel strange at first but you quickly warm up to it
