It is as good as advertised.
The paste was delivered as scheduled. I put a small amount on the leather strap, rubbed it in for two minutes on half the leather, and voilà after three passes on each side, my knife was “scary” sharp. I only wish that it was a bigger jar for the cost of 1.5 ounces. However, I will buy it again and again.

Eventually Dried Up - I fixed that
I really love this paste. Especially great on my carving chisels. Works Great.Like others, mine dried up into a cake. I broke this up as best I could with a screw driver into very small fine pieces. The jar says Ammonia and Naphtha had been added. Had some on hand so I decided to give it a try. The paste is NOT cheap. I put 1/2 teaspoon each of Ammonia and Naphtha in the jar and worked it back into a paste with a small stick. Just like new. We'll see how long it lasts, but it put a great shine on my plane blade. Not sure the jar is as air tight as it could be. I might not be using it up fast enough. Beats throwing it out.
