A Portrait of The Artist As A Young Man Paperback – 1 January 2015

One can start with Joyce’s this work and move on to voluminous “Ulysses “ later. A beautiful novel that depicts the emergence of an artist in Joycean diction and style. Strongly recommended.

This edition is the Penguin Classics Deluxe edition (Centennial). I had my eye on this for a while and when it was available for Rs 523 I bought it (yes it's expensive). But it's a collector's copy and it looks the part. The cover design is wonderful, the paper quality is top notch and the font is spaced well. The book has french flaps and deckled edges and the cover is made of a high GSM paper and has a bit of a texture.My only problem is that someone thought it would be appropriate to stick two massive stickers on a paper cover. Why do Amazon/ sellers do that?!Apart from the corners bending a bit, the book is in fairly decent condition and I'm happy with it.

The book was absolutely fine and came in a very good condition. No creases, no dents, not dirty. The book did have no packaging though, no bubble wrap, not even a plastic wrap. Seller needs to focus on packaging the product 😭

Not hard cover but go for it.

It’s a really good book.. Story that leaves a mark on you and the mark stays for a long long time... I am here just to review the Edition that i Bought.. It’s A really Superfine quality product ... The Binding.. The Pages.. The cover.. They are strong and of high quality... Font is also really great.. Go for this one.. Peacock Classics have become my favourite for providing such classics in such a high quality editions... Keep it up !! And Go for it.. You won’t get Such superfine Hardback Classics at such a reasonable price....

The books condition...the pages are glued to each other..its terrible. But on the outerlook its ok

Received book in fantastic condition.The sentences are expressive and vivid, the images and scenes can be felt deeply. Sheer genius oozes out of the pages.
