Well thought books. I have introduced only first 3 books in the series to my 5.8 years old child. These are confidence boosting books for young readers. The books are expensive but now I think worth the money spent. I thought the repetitive words might be boring for my kid but actually it helped him to become confident reader. The illustrations in the books are not at all cartoonish, funky or crazy but realistic but fortunately my son liked them as well.My kid is learning to read with jolly phonics in his school. And this book is based on repetitive sight words. So when he needs any help I teach him words with jolly phonics method. Most important thing for me is that once he has leant new words, he insists that he wants to read the whole book on his own.

Excellent series. Used for my two children and highly recommended my friends and family to pick up a set for themselves. My children picked up their reading skills in a matter of a few months. The gradual build up in reading levels and classic illustrations, stories reflective of the yesteryears and supporting workbooks (part c) make the books a must have in any library.Also to mention, the pages are of a high GSM which make the books reusable multiple times.

My child is 35 months old, i.e. 1 month less than 3 years. and he has read 1a on the very first day i received this set. For information, i had him ready with recognition of alphabets and their sound, with little practice on phonics. Also few days back i found this channel "Alphablocks" on youtube. and these two are together rocking my life. Hoping for the best from these books. I also plan to supplement with flashcards (home made ) simultaneously for these words, being written in my handwriting. Truly happy. Recommend, Recommend, Recommend!

Excellent set of books as a sight reading tool. Lot of tedious repetition which is good for kids to practice sight words. The quality of printing is good though the box was slightly damaged. It was a great supplement to the phonics books and other ORT books which she was getting from school. The first four levels were a breeze for her as she was already reading at book band 3 and reading these books helped her in progressing levels rapidly as since then she has gone up two levels in her school book bands in 20 days. The books are a bit long so let the child read a few pages each day if he/ she is bored. Soon they will surprise you. Great value for money.

One of the best options for learning-to-read young children. Definitely way better for video games. Smart parents should feed their children with actual books, read with them side by side to build a strong relationship and bonding. This is something that smarphones or tablets cannot accomplish; these electronics decrease and damage kids ability of focus and concentration.This set of books are very conveniently sized; my daughter can easily fit 1 or 2, 2 or 3 into her small backpack when we go out. She's never bored, and she never needs to ask for my smart phone to fill her time. She's a confident girl because she can read. This gives her great sense of accomplishment and confidence.

I bought lot of books for my kid from Amazon, this is the best one so far. The way 12 levels were orchestrated is just perfect any kid could start reading in a month.The illustrations are perfect, each book contains ~ 22-25 Pages to read and an Illustration for each reading page so ~50 pages per book.I bought these for my elder son who is 5.5 , his reading fluency has definitely increased just after 8 books .To my surprise my younger one who is 3.5 can narrate some lines as well.If you have a kid > 3.5 age just buy these.

This was a gift for my friend's 4 year old grandson. Used this series for my own children and grand children.

It's a good collection and my son started practicing. it's easy to learn.
