Ruger Padded Leather Cobra Sling

The Tan Ruger sling I received is a rich tan/brown color that is beautifully finished. The sewing is well done with the seams evenly spaced along the edge of the sling. The inside layer is suede. In portions of the widest part of the sling, the thickness with the two layers of leather and padding is 7/16" thick. The widest part of the sling is 2 3/8" and it narrows to a little over 1". The imprint of the Ruger logo and name is very well done. Normally, I don't like to have logos on things that I own, but this sling on the 10/22 carbine really looks very handsome.I did not read the description correctly, so when the sling came with Uncle Mikes swivels, I was surprised and pleasedAgain, the quality and workmanship looks good and it is very conformable to carry the rifle with this sling.The sling was received before the date promised. All in all, pleased with the product and service.

Product its self is very nice. Looks great and is very comfortable. Side not it will not fit correctly if you have a bipod on do to the cobra style. (At least with my bipod) This does not bother me as I have the quick release for my bipod for when I need to use the sling.

Put this on my Hawkeye .243 and it looks great. Leather is good quality, smells/looks perfect. The other reviewer who rated it low stars because of the red color is a moron. The color is dark brown/red and it looks fine. It's a bit darker than the walnut stock on my gun, but it still looks great with it.

Bought this for use on a new Ruger Mini 14. The sling is great and adds to the appearance of the rifle.The only problem I had was that the leather did not fit through the front sling swivel. It was close but no cigar.Some prying on the front swivel finally got me enough room to slip the leather through. The rifle came with sling swivels so I could not use the swivels that came with the sling.

High quality leather and craftsmanship. This is a great item.It is padded, and wide at the top. Fits my Gunsite Scout Rifle great, but I would not call it tactical.

Rivet fell out first back country trip

Works good on my Ruger African .338 win mag. Looks good. Needed almost to the last hole to be long enough, but it is long enough.

Color does not last. Bought the tan version. It was crazy stiff so I used some leather conditioner and the logo and wording bled creating an ugly cracked brown shadow around the logo. For the money I expected a lot better.
