Works great
Finally, a trimmer that works. I've been through so many different nose/ear hair trimmers that just didn't work. So far, this one has been just what I needed. Easy to hold. Doesn't pull the hair as long as I don't try to work too fast.

Much better than previous versions
I have an older version of this product that looks similar to this hut with a single blade, but this dual blade one really nails it. The dual blade design that really feels like it gives a much better reach, and opening blade to easily clean really helps me get my ear hair and nose hair. Great product.

An ingenious product for male senior citizens
Why didn't they tell me I'd get ingrown hairs in my nose when I became a senior citizen? What a mess! As far as I know, this is the best weapon against them. No hair, no ingrown hair. Right? Such an incredibly useful gadget. I keep it in my night table and use it multiple times a week. In my ears, too. Where the hell did all that hair come from? Age, I guess. I clean it with a handy wipe. Ugh, don't know what's on there and don't wanna know. A truly ingenious product, works on an AA battery.

Ok
It's ok. Like the longer flat extension. Not great turning on and off. Bc every time it unlocks battery cover. But it works fine

Requires gentle use
What you see is what to get, not sure how long it will last

STAY AWAY - Bad product and horrible customer service.
Probably the worst purchase I ever made on Amazon. After 4 weeks the trimmer totally ceased working. Attempted everything to get it working again with no luck. 30-day return window for Amazon had just passed so I had to go through the manufacturer. Once I finally got to speak with someone they told me I had to email them with certain documentation, which I did.The first response was: "Thank you for reaching out to us. We are sorry to hear about your experience with our product. In order to further assist you, please provide a clear picture showing the production date code.Attachments or photos can be sent through reply to this email. Creating a separate email may cause delays. Please reference your ticket number."I sent the information requested. The next email from them was: "Thank you for the requested information. The on/off switch is integrated into the battery cap. Rotate the battery cap clockwise to turn on.We apologize for the inconvenience. We suggest contacting Amazon and following their return policy for a possible unit replacement as the unit is covered by a 60-day money-back guarantee. Products purchased from our retailers are directly handled by them.If they are unable to assist, please let us know."My reply was If they had read through the initial inquiry and the email threads they would know that the product worked for a short period and that they could deduce from this that I know how to turn it on! The issue is that it no longer works because it is defective. Also advised them that if they done their own legwork instead of me, the customer, having to do it for them, they would know that the Amazon return period ended 30 days (not 60 as you have stated) from the date of the order.I also pointed out that I had noted in my earlier correspondence that Amazon would not process the return which is why I reached out directly to them per Amazon’s instructions.Their next email was, again, totally unresponsive: "Thank you for the updated information. Please ensure the trimmer is being cleaned after each use." This was followed by cleaning instructions. When I advised that it had been regularly cleaned and still did work, they told me to return it at my own expense. This was accompanied by return instructions which were crazy: "If you purchased from a retailer, please include a copy of your proof of purchase. Inside the package please include a letter with your name, address, phone # and Indicate if you would like a replacement or a refund. Please put the copy of the proof of purchase and letter into an envelope and tape it to the top flap of your box"Bottom line is that, not only is the product a piece of junk, the company's customer service consists of responses generated by AI which are not responsive to the problem at hand. I like the narrow design of the nose trimmer, but there is a learning curve while using it.
Why do women's nose trimmers look like a drill bit, are too bulky, and barely cut nose hairs? Quite by accident, I discovered a YouTube video that showed a woman teaching others how to use this Remington Nose, Ear & Detail Trimmer with CleanBoost Technology marketed for men. I was intrigued by its narrow, two-bladed design and decided to order one. It's nice it comes with an AA battery, so I did not have to bother with charging it. The unit is well-oiled and recommended to keep it in good operating capacity. The Use and Care Guide is pretty lengthy but understandable. There are many details when and how to use the adjustable comb for bushy eyebrows, but there are none for how to best use the nose trimmer. You pretty much have to figure it out on your own. They should include a demo video on the product page. There's a definite learning curve. Because I'm righthanded, it was easier for me to trim my left nostril. My right one was more difficult to figure out. Once I was satisfactorily done, I pressed the blue CleanBoost handle to open the trimmer blades for a more complete rinse under running water.I doubt I'll ever use the round ear trimmer that looks like my old nose trimmer. The same goes for the small attachment comb.Regardless, I still think it was worth it to purchase this product even if I only use the nose trimmer. Its narrow design for men is good for women to use, too.
