Bad quality
Got rusted and very hard to use wondering if Stanley is not worried of their reputation (it’s made in China) but why is Stanley lending it’s name to such a product

Small-ish, Versatile, Smooth operating
Probably 25 years ago I bought my dearly beloved a pair of long nose pliers that he loved. They were just the right size. They worked. They made him happy when he needed needle nose pliers. So when they disappeared about a month ago, he went nuts, and accused everyone of taking his favorite pliers. The ones that remained in his plier drawer were just too big! Too Wide! Too Long! While he scolded our sons for losing his pliers, I measured the Too Big Pliers, and then ordered these. 2 days later, I handed him a box, demanded that he open it, and he was delighted. These pliers operate easily with one hand, are small enough to hold a small nail in place when you need to start driving it, and work well for things like pulling staples or nails. They feel fairly heavy and sturdy. And whoever lost the original green pliers has been (probably) forgiven.

It’s a great cheap replacement
Can’t beat the cost for the quality. I buy these for the tool benches at work because tools get walked off a lot. It’s a great cheap replacement... I don’t have much to say for longevity, because they don’t stick around super long, but I haven’t seen any broken ones realpear in place of the brand-new ones I buy...The cutter would be the only concern, that it would wear out easily. But who actually ises that? Buy dedicated cutters! And spend good money on those...5 stars because you can’t beat the price for how great of quality these seem to be. If you’re working in heavy applications, maybe consider actually paying money for tools that last ( not to say this won’t?).

Nice quality
Nice pair of pliers. Good alignment and cutters are sharp work great. Use in my tackle box to grab hooks, cut line and hold split rings.

Non needle nose pliers
Garbage. Not even going to try to get a replacement. First off, they come with grease on the pivot point, not a light oil, which my hands let me know of as soon as I held them. Second, the ends of the nose had a burr on both sides, big enough that the pliers wouldn't close. I took them to work to grind off the excess only to have a guy tell me they looked like the tip was broke off. Upon further looking at them, I realized they weren't only broken, but bent. Wow, I thought Stanley was better than this.
