The chrome is poor quality
I ordered this to replace my original 12 year Grohe flush plate . The new one has started rusting/ disfiguring after 4 months !!! I have water softener and the plate is never wet in any case . They have lowered the quality standards

White Patches observed on the face plate switch panel
White patches observed on the face plate switch surface. There was no damage on the packing or any physical damage of any other parts. But the visual patches on the face place puch switch was looks to be due to some manufacturing defect or some aberration of surface. Item was returned for replacement.
