Amazing product for the money. Having been a photographer for a long time with traditional SLRs and digital cameras, I am impressed with the ease of setup and use, reliability and functionality. The zoom is awesome and the selfie light is so good that you can use it in place of more expensive lights. I have already recommended it to my daughter and some friends.

I wish I could give negative Star. The cell phone case was cheap quality. I was putting my phone in it and side hole for thread got broken. My cell dropped from 4 feet height and whole case broke. The item arrived with scratches too

Built well, good ergonomics, easy operation. Makes taking photos and videos easier. I was surprised by its magnetic strength. The only draw back is the phone case. Doesn't feel very protective for a drop situation also doesn't have raised edges around the screen so if you place it face down on a table it will be resting on the screen.

The best accessory i could buy for my iphone 17 pro max the bluetooth is great, the fit is great but its hard to put the case in, the instructions explain everything on how to use it, i bought this in black friday and i could say is kinda worth the money if you use it to shoot behind scenes for some content

Over all good value for what you get. As many have stated, the case is the biggest let down. The sides are slick and don’t offer a ton of grip, plus they barely go over the edge of the phone. So there’s no bumper to protect the screen if you drop it. Dropping it could easily happen if you’re out shooting or even getting it knocked off the camera grip. Theres also no cover for the camera button like on cheaper cases that fit better and offer more protection. Kinda sucks with how good everything else is, even the lanyard strap.

Ich habe den Master Grip für mein iPhone (17 Pro Max in der Farbe Orange) bestellt. Da die Alu-Oberfläche beim iPhone kratzanfällig ist, insbesondere in Kombination mit der mitgelieferten Handyhülle, habe ich diese kurz ausprobiert. Das Einsetzen ist sehr eng und die Hülle weist teilweise scharfe Kanten auf, auch an den Tasten, die zwar innen gummiert sind, jedoch ebenfalls nicht ganz unproblematisch wirken. Zudem sammelt sich bei solchen Hüllen erfahrungsgemäß mit der Zeit Staub an, was häufig zu Mikrokratzern führt. Genau davor möchte ich mein neues iPhone schützen. Daher rate ich persönlich von der Nutzung dieser Hülle ab. Für mich ist sie unbrauchbar und wird nicht weiter verwendet. Stattdessen nutze ich die originale Apple-Hülle aus dem weichen Woven-Material/ Funktionsgewebe. Damit lässt sich der Master Grip problemlos mit MagSafe handhaben. Nach einer kurzen Eingewöhnungszeit insbesondere bei der Menüführung und Bluetooth-Verbindung funktioniert der Master Grip zuverlässig. Die Steuerung ist sehr praktisch: Man kann Fotos und Videos wechseln, Video Aufnahmen pausieren (Doppelklick FN Taste), zoomen sowie den Fokus durch kurz drücken mit der Aufnahmetaste auf den mittleren Fokus-Punkt setzen. All das ist möglich, ohne das iPhone ständig in die Hand nehmen oder auf das Display tippen zu müssen. Das gefällt mir gut. Natürlich ersetzt der Master Grip keinen großen Gimbal von DJI mit Stabilisator und erweiterten Zoom-Funktionen. Dafür ist er aber deutlich kompakter und ideal für unterwegs, für die Jackentasche. Im Querformat ist das iPhone 17 Pro Max sehr passgenau. Der obere Knopf für den Daumen liegt nah an der iPhone Kante, ohne diese zu berühren es bleibt etwa ein Millimeter Abstand, sodass beim Wechsel zwischen Hoch- und Querformat keine Kratzer entstehen. Mit Hüllen kann das allerdings anders aussehen, trägt leicht auf die Hülle auf. Insgesamt bin ich zufrieden und werde den Master Grip weiterhin nutzen, hoffe, der hält mir länger treu. Aufgrund der Preispolitik und mitgelieferten Hüllen-Thematik vergebe ich vier Sterne.

The grip does in fact work with the native camera app. To enable this, you need to turn on ZOOM in accessibility, then double tap the screen with 3 fingers to zoom out. After that everything should be working. The only thing I couldn't get working is the function button. Aside from that, it is well made. Part 2: The function button works in video mode. single press takes a snapshot while filming, double press pauses and restarts filming. In slow-mo, it takes snapshots only. The function button does not seem to work in cinematic mode. Hope this helps everyone.
