Update 7/4/2020, bought a second set. Update 6/20/2020. Using for over 5 weeks in dishwasher. Look like New. Want to order more but "Unavailable" on Amazon. Original review: Just got these and they are beautiful and sharp out of the box. Individually wrapped. I will use in the dishwasher for every day cutting steak knives. I hope they don't rust and will update review in a month. I have expensive steak knives that I don't use often cause they need to be washed by hand. Hoping these tolerate the dishwasher and don't rust and stay sharp. Notice how clean the edges are? No fragments of metal to flake off like some other brands have. Look very well made. Hoping these do the trick for everyday sharp knives for meat dishes and don't rust. Update: Using for 3 weeks in dishwasher. Still sharp and no discoloration. Recommend.

These wonderful knives from Amazon's collection are super-sharp in more ways than one. Their sleek and simple one-piece design insures zero breakage, as cheaper knives of plastic or wooden - handled knives tend to do. Theyslice cleanly and quickly with one stroke, stay sharp, are dishwasher safe, and help any place setting look stunning.I have found that the symmetry of all - silver always looks nicer than a contrasted handle, and since my good china has silver trim and periwinkle blue flower accents, these knives blend elegantly into each well - set table.

When I first received these they seemed fine. I just used one to cut a baked chicken thigh and instead of clean cuts the knife just sort of shredded the meat. Kind of hard to explain but I have the feeling that if they were used on a steak the cutting action would be less than satisfactory. They're not all that sharp. I had really high hopes for these knives as they're attractive, have a substantial weight and feel good in the hand. I guess that you really do get what you pay for. At my age I should know that by now.

These steak knives are quality knives that are sharp, sturdy and durable. The handle has a smooth design and fits nicely in the curb of my hand. The knives feel balanced and not too light. They have a clean, simple design that's timeless and will complement various table settings. I liked them so much that I have purchased two sets. They are a great value.

They are not as sharp as I was hoping for. They do not cut as well as my old steak knives. They are beautiful and match my cutlery, but as a steak knife, they are lacking.

These are very nice everyday knives - they will cut through anything - but we still use steak knives for steak

Really disappointed because they are beautiful knives, but they don't cut anything well but bread.

Love this set, sleek design, easy to use, perfect addition to my stainless steel flat ware. Washes well in dishwasher. Great value for service of 8.
