Front Load Washer Tub Bearing and Seal Kit with Nachi Bearings, Fits LG & Kenmore Tub 4036ER2004A (Includes a 5 year replacement warranty and a link to our "How To" videos)

This was installed on our LG WM2455WH in August of 2016. Our machine is used by our household an average of 3 times per day.We've had this LG front loading washer for 10 years now and I replaced the original bearings after 7 years. The replacement bearing, a Korean-made replacement, failed miserably after only 1 year (the train station-rattling symptom as described by others).After that fiasco I pledged to find a quality bearing, so enter the Nachi bearing and seal kit . Installation was a breeze and the fit was perfect for our LG WM2455WH. Moving beyond being pleased with the fit, I patiently waited to see how it would hold up compared to the cheap replacement and poor-quality OEM bearing that was obviously designed with obsolescence in mind.I'm glad to report that these bearings are still functioning smoothly and quietly as the day I installed them 2 years ago. There are no signs of tub-shake or noise which indicates bearing wear. I suspect these bearings are made of much higher quality metal materials compared the the Korean-built bearings.I will report further as time goes on, but I anticipate these will last longer than the normal 5-7 years of cheap OEM bearings. My advice is to stay away from Korean bearings and use Japanese-built ones as their quality is superior.

These bearings fit perfectly on my LG front load washing machine and the machine is operating quietly again. I am not sure how much higher quality these bearing are than the OEM LG bearings that lasted 8 years but I am happy with the purchase. The seal is noticeably better quality that the one I replaced. The repair was time consuming but really not that difficult if you have some mechanical skills.I replaced the bearings, seal, drum, spider (bearing shaft) and springs/suspension and the machine is working great. I recommend replacing the drum because it comes with the spider assembly already mounted. I tried replacing the old spider but the bolts had corroded and could not be removed. I highly recommend [...] for the drum/spider assembly because they were hands down the cheapest and only charged $8 shipping for this big item.

Can’t really rate the bearings because I returned them. More parts needed replaced on washer machine. Ended up buying a new machine.

I purchased Nachi bearings for my LG washer replacement project because of good reviews on the internet. Replacing these bearings requires tearing apart the whole washer, and are too much to chance using "average" bearings that may or may not last long. I thought I had the problem corrected, and my washer sounded really great with the new bearings. Alas, after only 1.5 years it sounds like a jet engine again on the spin cycle. Maybe I just got a bad set, but the original bearings lasted closer to 8 years. Not satisfied.

After 16 years the bearing failed in my LG washer and not knowing that all bearings are not the same I installed a cheaper bearing that was not designed for high speed, for my Front Load Washer, and it only lasted 5 months. I just installed the ( Front Load Washer Tub Bearing and Seal Kit with Nachi Bearings ) and I'm very happy with the quality and how quiet my tub spins now. ( Maybe I'll get another 16 years of use ! )

New bearings failed, started sounding like a freight train again just a few months after replacement. It's possible that the bearings are not at fault and the new seal install along with the bearings might have leaked and let water pass trough to the bearings which are now extremely noisy again, found a puddle of rusty water under the machine and on the motor rotor when inspecting the washer for the noise re-occurrence.

These were perfect, good quality and the video instructions available from the seller really helped a lot. Hope they last for years to come.
