Q: How do these compare to glycerin suppositories like Fleet?

Bisacoydl (Dulcolax) is a lot more effective in my opinion. It is stronger than glycerin Fleet suppositories. In fact, sometimes I’ll only take half of a Dulcolax, and it is enough to do the job. Usually get the urge to go within 12-13 minutes.

Q: Will this make your stool soft, or is it just a laxative?

It won't change the composition of the stool, but I think it helps "get it out" if you can't pass. It's a good idea to set aside 30-45 minutes and just let it sit as long as you can. Just don't be too far from a bathroom. I think it works well in conjunction with the stool softeners.

I’m not sure what size they actually are I think it’s the same as it has been for sixty years or more
