Seriously changed my life. I have had to take sleeping pills every night for the past 5 years. I've switched back and forth between meletonin and rx drugs. But I wanted to find something non habit forming and non hormonal...like meletonin is. I stumbled on the idea that the reason i'm not sleeping is that my cortisol levels are too high. I've had a blood test done this year that showed my pituitary gland is working overtime...that can definitely raise cortisol levels! So I did some more research and found that the herbs in this complex are helpful in restoring balance to cortisol. I didn't expect much but after only 3 days of taking this complex, i no longer needed my sleeping medicine. And it's not because this stuff makes me sleepy and drowsy. In fact, I take it in the morning and then in the early evening. It doesn't put me to sleep. It simply allows my body to sleep on it's own. It's balanced out my system and I don't need to take sleeping meds. This feels nothing short of a miracle. It's also improved my mood. I used to play guitar and sing at open mic nights and I had a few paid gigs at coffee shops and bars around town. But I lost interest in it and pretty much gave it all up 4 years ago. I know i suffer from depression but I thought my zoloft was doing it's job and I was functioning normally. But again, after taking this complex for a few weeks, I suddenly had the urge to pick up my guitar and play a few songs. Then last weekend I went to my first open mic night in 4 years with my wife. I've tried lots and lots of complexes and supplements over the years...fish oil, iodine, meletonin, various anti-depressants (all the withdrawals and side-effects included) and this complex has hit the nail on the head. I have tried a fair amount of supplements with moderate to no results, so when I started this one I wasn't expecting much. I was SHOCKED to discover that, after about a week of taking these twice daily (one in the AM, one in the PM), I was feeling significantly less anxious, happier, and generally better. This is the only supplement that has ever made a big difference in my anxiety. It is also one of the cheapest supplements I've tried, so go figure. One surprising side effect is that my appetite is reduced—I'm not sure I'm necessarily eating less overall, but I don't crave snacks all the time like I did before. And I'm not complaining. It's great! If you are considering this product, give it a try! It's inexpensive and it has helped me more than I would have ever expected. I've been taking this for about 8 months now to combat stress headaches. I would get a WRETCHED migraine headache almost every Sat. After 3 weeks on this ( 1 capsule every night before bed with a large glass of water!) No More Headaches!!! ( & these headaches defied all medications!!! Even Morphine didn't help!) These capsules have been a lifesaver! I've ordered 3 bottles so far & I suppose I'll be taking them the rest of my life, & I don't care as long as the headaches stay gone! For some reason I became very moody while taking these and I (nor my family) liked it. I would easily get angry (totally not like me) and those feelings stopped a few days after I stopped taking the pills. I gave it 3 stars because maybe I’m the oddball person who had a bad reaction to these but wanted to give others a heads up to look out for this possible side effect. I did not notice any appreciable increase in energy level after taking for a few weeks.
