Love it
Perfect for me. I also like 2 size bowls. If a large amount is one side and just to crush small things the other side. Very sturdy and solid. Bonus was a cover fir when you are cooking you can pre grind and cover. Also comes with a spatular.

Idea kitchen utensil how did I go so long without one? The old way is the best way!!
A very handy tool for the kitchen. Grinds cinnamon sticks and cloves, great for crushing garlic, pepper corns and ginger etc. I love the idea of having a reversible sides great for crushing jupiner berries cardamom pods and such like. Though it takes a bit of physical effort, I prefer using than an electric grinder/mixer and any other form of crusher

great general p&m, can be used in both sides
pretty good. I ended up choosing this one as it is useful can be used on both sides, smaller and bigger bowl options. best to research what materials suit best for the job you're looking for as marble, granite, copper etc all grind differently. I'd say this is a good general one to have. if you want only one for general jobs this is handy.

crushing stuff
a very solid piece of kit, easy to clean, the non slip mat makes crushing stuff very easy, plastic spatula is a bit flimsy but still does its job, DONT DROP IT ON YOUR FOOT this thing is heavy enough to break a bone

Works fine but no silicone mat was included
Came with the spatula, pestle and mortar but did not include the silicone mat as advertised. Pestle and mortar work fine.

Super useful
I made this purchase with trepidation in my heart, knowing that it would be a useless item that collected dust on my kitchen counter. But no! We use it all the time! We grind spices, make pesto, crack pepper, break down nuts, pound herbs for guacamole, etc. I would say that the bottom part that they say you can use for grinding smaller amounts of things isn't great. Spices don't stay in it. Just use the main compartment. Visually, it's nice looking. It lives most of its life as a bookend for my cookbooks on the counter, with the brand name turned to the wall, because that doesn't look great. I wish it wasn't there or was more discretely placed. Other than that, love it!

Solid Pestle & Mortar
We use it for grinding herbs. I like the solid design with a choice of bowl sizes. I love the lid idea as well. Must admit we've not used the spatula yet - but hubby loves baking, so, I'm sure he'll find a use for it :)
