Derby Professional Single Edge Razor Blade 100 Pieces

I got these as the recommended purchase with the Sharpy shavette being sold on Amazon. I'm bearded and using the shavette to 'clean' my beard lines sort of weekly. I was a bit apprehensive about trying a 'cut throat' razor and I did cut my finger putting the blade into the unit before I used it- oops! This was more down to my own carelessness/ inexperience than anything at all wrong with the shaver/ blades! But I didn't think that this boded too well for shaving really! But, after three shaves so far: no nicks and much, much less irritation certainly than in the bad old cartridge razor days! You have to be a little bit careful obviously but I only wish I had tried this years ago in all honesty! These blades have done the business for me anyway! Fantastic shaves at sort of 5p a blade. I reckon it'll be maybe a penny a shave for me- not too bad! Certainly an upgrade on paying a fortune for cr@p shaves with expensive cartridge razors with blades that got clogged up with shaving foam/ gel and hair and were hard to clean after only one shave! Back then I thought: I must be doing this wrong. You do when you're only fourteen years old don't you! But I was far from alone in this experience I now know! So nope it wasn't me: it's just a rotten product! You have to hand it to the 'marketeers' of these big wet shave companies I suppose with the adverts for their rubbish that are never off the telly! Raheem Sterling is a very good poster boy for their duff product actually! He's as good at football as their product is at shaving you! That is: not very! :-) Happy shaving friends!

Derby Single Edge Razor Blade 100-Pieces ================================= You get a 100 single pieces inside the box to fit cut throat straight razors. Since they are blades you do have to have an adult accept the order - it was insisted on me to give my date of birth, even though it was clearly obvious I am well into my later years. The white in my beard kind of gives it away :-) The blades themselves are budget, but don't be fooled they are still very sharp! I used to get Wilkinsons, and you can definitely re-use the Wilkinsons more times than these and the finish on the blades is much better. But as throwaway blades these do the job at a fraction of the cost.

I use these razors with the Blue Beards Revenge cut throat handle. They fit in really well and are incredibly easy to install, I prefer these half razors vs. the ones you need to snap. They are good value for money as they come in a box of 100 which is really handy. These blades are really sharp, nice to use on the skin and do not pull - they’re incredibly comfortable for both user and the person you’re shaving. They don’t cause any irritation to the skin. For personal use, each blade will last around 7-10 cuts, they do last a long time and stay sharp. No nics or cuts, no razor burn. A quality razor blade! These are really worth the money and as a barber myself, I highly recommend them over other alternatives available.
