Cheaper than OEM, but good overall
They work well. Feels like a cheap version of the OEM controllers, but not necessarily in a bad way. Just a bit lighter, plastic feels slightly different. The buttons and stick have a good click without being weird. Was able to just plug them in and go on my Windows 10 machine.

Works great with RetroArch!
These are awesome, work exactly like the original N64. The weighting, etc. is all spot on so it really takes me back to playing one of my first consoles. It's pretty much plug & play with RetroArch on Windows, no issues so far & we've had them for over a year. They're sturdy too, my cats have pulled them down off the TV stand more than once & so far they've held up just fine. The cords could be a bit longer, but they work just fine with a USB extension cable & those are pretty cheap. The cord is about the same length as the original N64s for reference. Can't go wrong with this controller, one of the best random purchases I've made lol

works good.
I have been using them for some months and works perfectly. Works well with OpenEmu. update: I bought this 18 months ago and now it’s having issues with the stick. drifting and falling off, i guess my partner used it too hard and also it not going to last forever, nevertheless, it gave us a fun time.

Exactly What They Should Be
For anyone who is familiar with video-game controllers, N64 is very well known for being a badly designed controller. It is often forgiven because of being the first 3D platform, and they were still figuring it out. Any complaints you may have for the N64 controller itself, let those go. This is a N64 controller, so don't bring up the design flaws on an old system when judging this item. These controllers really do capture that old N64 feel very perfectly. The ergonomics are perfect, the buttons and stick feel just like the N64 controllers did, and the transparent design really does remind us how that was all the rave back when the counsel hit the market. If you're looking for that nostalgic hit or hoping to rely on 20 year old muscle memory as you play your childhood games on a PC emulator like I was two years ago, these really do sell. The USB makes it so they can plug into any computer, and makes swinging Bowser into the bombs much easier than pressing asdw in just the right rhythmic sequence. Unfortunately, no it does not work with Steam, so you can't play Skyrim with a N64 controller (I tried). But you can also plug it into your Nintendo Switch, if you play Mario All Star, then it is great for the Super Mario 64 remake, -just don't expect to BLJ to fight Bowser in the infinite stair-case (they patched it out).

They work well but don't last long
I reall like that I can plug these straight into my computer and that it was an easy set up. I was disappointed tha it hasn't been two months and one of them already has a malfunctioning joy stick. They sent to replacement joystick covers but noy joystic mechanisms and it looks like they will be more trouble to change out than they are worth. To be fair I'm older and my eyesight isn't up to that tiny work up close, but I still don't think it should give out that quickly under casual use (1-2 hours at a time 2-3 times a week)

Great nostalgia hit
I use these with a Raspberry Pi 5 retro cabinet running batocera. The d-pad is a little finiky while menuing, but while playing in-game it’s not noticeable. All other buttons work great and it feels just like an OG N64 controller. I liked them so much I bought 2 more so we can have 4 player madness like it’s 1998 all over again!

Great imitation controllers
I needed a USB N64 controller that would connect to my Mac. These controllers fit the bill. Maybe it's just been a long time since I've held an actual N64 controller but these feel just right--buttons, weight, etc all feel fine. Most importantly they connect to my Mac (OpenEmu) perfectly with no setup/install. I also like it being wired. Wireless is cool as long as it takes replaceable batteries which most of the wireless controllers out there don't. This way I can use these far into the future without problems.

Doesn't work fresh out of the box.
Doesn't work. I have many other controllers i use with emulators, mainly project 64 and 1964, which is why I bought these. I tried them the day they arrived, they didnt work. I assumed maybe I had to download drivers, so on the shelf they went because im a contractor and summer's are very busy. That was in June. I tried today now thay I have time and confirmed. I bought 2 pieces of plastic. I would not recommend.

I have bought the pack and it comes with like an extra joystick in case one breaks but I have used it on my Batocera arcade build and it runs n64 smoothly. Is it the same exact feel as of the OG nintendo 64? No but it’s not bad, honestly the feel of the controller and the buttons are not cheap build in the sense that we use it a lot and it does not break and I’ve had it for a while now. I don’t know why there is so many bad comments, if you expect a nintendo64 OG controller buy one but by all means we have bought these and it felt pretty close to how we played as kids :) Hope this review helps you making your choice!

I was initially hesitant to pick these up, based on some of the other reviews here, but I decided to pull the trigger on them (pun intended) because these are by far the best knockoff usb N64 controllers I've ever used. The analog stick is actually fantastic on these controllers and that was my biggest concern when purchasing these seeing as how a few other reviews made mention of it not being that great. So far I have used it for quite a few hours on my pc while emulating games through retroarch and this is by far the most accurate usb N64 controller yet. I highly recommend giving these a shot, especially because you get 2 in one bundle for a decent price, and they're see thru.. I mean c'mon lol.

The Start Button brings up the Switch menu, C-right the emulator menu and C-up is the in-game start button. So, you lose C-up and C-right by playing on the Switch. At first, I was ok with this, but then I needed to play a tune in ocarina of time... yea, that doesn't work, and you need to use the ocarina pretty often, so this is extremely annoying. Needless to say that I am very disappointed, but the controller itself is amazing and should work perfectly on a PC.

This controller feels slightly smaller than an official n64 controller, not by a lot (maybe 5-10%) but enough to notice. One of the analog sticks makes a clicking sound when it passes the lower right quadrant of its radius. This controller works and gets the job done. I do wish that the cord was a little bit longer.
