PremiereParaffin Dispenser – Tabletop Style Dispenser with Built in Digital Temperature Controller, and Heated Faucet

I bought this paraffin dispenser for our histology lab. The dispenser worked fine for a little over a year. Now when I turn it on it will not keep at the temp and constantly overheats and alarms. The manual is very poorly written with no troubleshooting advice or customer service contact. I tracked down the contact for this company and spoke with customer service, they have not been helpful with the only advice to continue to allow it to overheat and alarm and it *should* stop at some point and come back down. I think it might have blown a fuse or something and I cannot get any help or service for this item at this time. This is MUCH too much to pay for a piece of equipment that only lasts just past the 1 year warranty period.
