Installed them today. Direct fit, standard wire colors, worked like it should! Happy!

I rewired 14 t12 fixtures to run on these. They are quick to turn on and easy to wire in. You also cant beat the price.

These were purchased for my basemant, which has 7, four light fixtures. Five of the ballasts went out at once. These are about 20% smaller than the ballasts that were currently in the fixtures. Replacement took about 15 to 20 minutes for each fixture. The majority of time was spent removing bulbs and replacing them. The wiring was straight forward. After shutting off the circuit breaker, I simply cut the existing wires from the old ballast, and used wire nuts to connect the new ones. The wire colors matched up perfectly. The last fixture I repaired, had two ballasts, and proved to be a little more time consuming to wire. It works great on the old two ballast fixture. On a side note, I work at a facility that also used these to replace some bad ballasts. They are the reason I purchsed these, as the lights at work are on 24/7, and after about six months have worked well.

I used these to retrofit 9 old T12 fixtures. They were a piece of cake to install by simply cutting the wiring from the old ballasts and using wire nuts to connect to the wires in to the existing tombstones (lamp holders). If you have shunted tombstones then you'll only need to connect the wire to one input at each end, but if you have non-shunted (which most old T12's do) then you'll need to make sure the wire connects to each side of the tombstones.These ballasts turn on instantly, there's no bulb warm-up like the old T12's, and the T8 bulbs I got are about 20% brighter than the old ones while using 20% less energy. I figure each 4-lamp fixture will pay back the retrofitting in about 12 months, and after that I'll save about $20/year per fixture.And you can't beat the price at just $9/ea!! That's a heck of a lot better than the $30+/ea that they would cost at most home improvement stores.

Very economical choice if you have some ballasts to replace. I am utilizing T32 style 4' Fluorescents and my older ballasts are buzzing so badly I just have to do the swap. So far, I have only changed out one light fixture. Cool thing about this style is I was able to pull the two OEM ballasts out and place in just ONE of these in support of the four T32 tubes. Made wiring quit a bit faster. I pulled my tombstones off fixture and reorganized all the wiring to them a bit just to speed up the match to diagram supplied on the ballast. Very very quiet and works perfectly with my 4 T32 tubes. Will update later if I run into any issues.
