Unforgettable
"Iris" is one of my all time favourite songs and the one that introduced me to the Goo Goo Dolls, now one of my favourite bands. I play it over and over again and never get tired of it. The lyrics are powerful, heartfelt and deep; the vocals and instrumentals are memorable and haunting. I haven't seen the movie "City of Angels", but this stands perfectly well as a love song that is both amazing and unusual. I can't wait to buy the GGD album "Dizzy Up The Girl". This is an unforgettable, unique song.

Love this song!
Probably the Goo Goo Dolls best know, loved, love song out there! There isnt much you can say that is bad, so there will probably be tons of great reviews. The band also has some other really great songs and they should all be given a listen to once or twice in your life. So I recommend this song to anyone who has yet to hear this song and all there other songs to give it a listen and see what you think!

Beautiful & Emotional
This is CLEARLY one of the best Goo Goo Dolls songs ever! I am a MAJOR fan of their's and appreciate all of their songs, but the song, "Iris", is one that I listen to every night. It is harmonious with a clangy melody that feels so soft, and John Rzeznik's(lead singer) voice is so wonderful with deeply emotional and touching lyrics. The main thing that makes "Iris" so moving to everyone is that the band is writing from experience, and "Iris" is the powerful result of their experience. All in all, "Iris" is one of the most powerfully emotional, truly touching, makes-your-heart-race, graceful songs every to be heard. They just want you to know who they are...

One of the best songs ever written, composed and played
The lyrics and the emotion of the song makes it one of which I think is the best pieces of music ever created. Mike Manilin proves that he is one of the best drummers in the world, Robbie Takac timed the bass to perfection and it couldn't have been sung any better than the way John Rzeznik sang it. I've had 'Dizzy Up The Girl', the album which this song is on for about 2 and a half years now and I have never got tired of listening to Iris and don't think I ever will. I encourage people to listen to the words as well as just thumping their heads to the sound... after all, why are songs written? Thing is... why are us British too stubborn to welcome their talent here? Open your ears ppl....

The most beautiful song in the world.
When I first heard this song, I was touched by the musical arrangement of the song. But when I sat down and listen to the words, it made me cry. The combination of the musical arrangement and the lyrics is PERFECT. There is no other way of putting it. The words of this song is a summary of what I want to feel when I fall love with someone. I think it touched many people because this song made them feel something special. This song will stay with us for a long time, because it is a classic!

blew me away..
I heard this song a couple of years ago when my sister was watching city of angels..I couldnt help but fall in love with it. It is such a passionate song that just blows you away. Ever since then it has been my favourite song and the goos have been my fav band..its just a shame they dont ever come to England!!

It's really touching and so real, it really makes you think.
It's really touching.It's more realistic. It goes with the movie "City of Angels perfectly. I love the song. I t really makes me think about why we are put on this Earth, to love then to lose our love through death.

Excellent , it was described as condition used & good , but when it came it was in mint condition . Thank you my husband absolutely loves this song and he was really made up when I gave it him .
