I got 2 of these so I could use on indoors on my desktop computer (wanted to keep track of how much power my home media server uses throughout the week) and outdoors for Halloween lighting that I could turn on or off from anywhere. They have a great feature that lets it integrate with a weather app and turn on or off based on sunrise and sundown. It also comes with timer modes, in case you don't want them running all night. I really like that I can view data to see exactly how much power I'm wasting to keep seasonal lights on my house/lawn. Additionally, there's a button to turn it on or off if you don't have access to your phone.Setup via my Google Pixel was an absolute breeze on the Smart Life app.This is basically the same as the Benuo outdoor charger, which also uses the same Smart Life app. I bought both in case there were issues with either, and they've both been perfect for my use cases!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  We got this for our back porch, it worked great in the rain, we keep it inside a real palm tree pot🌴, it can handle the watering🌧🌧 since we have a watering system that now works with this plug and it handles bit a bit of dirt too!😁😃The application was easy to use, we use use google and Alexa with the same plug! that was great, because we use both!😃The hole in the back to us is a plus, because we can hang it nice and neat, the design is really cool, it uses the smart life app, which is great because that is the same I use with few of my other outdoors smart plugs 😎🤩It also monitors the power consumption 🤩Tip: do not put under water, this plug can handle rain and splash but not water immersion☺😍great buy, comes with the power of controlling your home

A QR code makes getting the software for my phone easy.Setup/registration took just a couple minutes and I immediately connected the Christmas lights to the switch.I'd given up on most timers for outfoor lights as they aren't generally waterproof.Now a simple - "Alexa, turn on Outdoorlights" from the comfort of the living room and they're on.No more running outside at night to turn on, and then a few hours later to turn off --( "Alexa, turn off Outdoorlights" )Works GREAT !

I'm very impressed with Lopoo outdoor smart plug. There were so many choices on Amazon and was very confused. I decided to try the Lopoo since I had already purchased the Lopoo wall dimmer and am very happy with that. It will also share the same app. In any case, this plug is very well built and setup with the app was so easy. Works instantly via the app - turning it on/off and scheduling. The plug has a hole in the back to easily mount it on a wall and the external on/off switch is really nice.Not much more I can really say other than you can't go wrong if you are looking for a waterproof smartplug. Certainly can be used indoors if you would like as well.

The plug itself is great, the app on the other hand will force you to register by providing your phone or email. I’m not sure I love that and setup was way more complicated that it should’ve been. Once you get through that it’s a great product. I’ll be using it to turn my Christmas decoration on and off. They offer a bunch of customization options on the app like schedules, timers and it can even measure how much energy it’s using which is pretty cool.

Recently I purchased this WiFi socket and I was impressed with how easy it was to set up and configure. By using QR code I was able to install the iOS app on my iPhone and configuration was done within a few mins. After that, I configured it with my Alexa and Google mini. After that I checked I was able to use it with my voice command. Luckily today it was raining in my area so I put it outside for testing and I found it was working great in heavy rain as well. So it proved that it is seriously waterproof.The good thing about this socket is that you can also monitor how much power has been consumed by the appliance which you plugged in this socket. I have four WiFi plug but they don't have this functionality.Till so far I am pretty satisfied with my purchase. I will recommend this to others who are looking for this kind of outdoor/Indoor WiFi socket.

Got it to work fairly simple. The instructions were slightly off. It seems that the app for it was updated and the category of "outdoor plug" was removed. The app seems versatile and has many different product choices for home automation.The outdoor plug was purchased to automate my Christmas lights with Alexa. Once I enabled the skill, I set up a group for both my Christmas tree and outdoor lights and it has been working well for weeks.The reason for for stars is that the plug did not work well with LED light strings. I was able to slightly mitigate this by putting a string of incandescent bulbs in series with all the LED strings. I think that with a slightly better design, this could have been mitigated within the device.To explain my last paragraph, the lights stay dimly lit when the plug is off. LED bulbs do not have the same impedance as incandescent bulbs so the residual current from the outlet makes the light strings stay lit. I'll attach photos so that you see the difference. Mitigate this problem by simply putting in another device that absorbs this residual current.This plug would work great for outdoor projection lamps or inflatable decor. It will also work for regular light strings. While you can mitigate the LED strings problem, I found it to not be ideal as I could not match the color temperature of the bulbs to the LED strings. It's not a perfect solution if you are determined to only use LED. The attached picture is the light string off... It's difficult to capture the difference, but the on position is much brighter.
