extremely beneficial, a little goes a long way
i have used this product for many years in my koi pond and indoor aquariums and my frog pond as well. this product really helps keep the water clear by adding beneficial bacteria that digest excess organic mater in thevwater and helps coagulate floating debris making the filter more efficient. i ad this after every cleaning and water change change seeing a quick return to water clarity in about one day. a little goes a long way, in my 125 gallon aquarium no more than one quarter cup per dose, often less. in my 3000 gallon koi pond about two cups per dose. what you are doing is providing a seed culture that will grow.

Excellent product!
I've used Microbe-Lift PL for many years, and it never disappoints. It keeps my pond clean and clear of algae. I use it with their barley pellets.
