I normally don't write as many reviews as I probably should but I was so impressed with this screen that I had to. Up until this point I've always had the regulary flimsy plastic screen protectors which I was fine with but they were always a pain to put on and I'd always managed to have at least 1 tiny bubble from a speck of dust that would always be around no matter how careful or quick I was however with this screen I have to say it was THE EASIEST and quickest install i've ever done. the alignment tool makes it fool proof and from my pictures you can see it was perfect. initially there was like 3 bubbles in the center that wouldnt go away no matter how many times i tried pushing it out but after a couple hours it had settled and went away on its own so I was very happy about that. will be buying a couple more just to have as backups

This protector already saved my screen and I hadn’t had the XS Max for a week...haha. I can’t begin to tell you how good this looks on the phone...you literally can’t even tell it’s on the phone (which is the markings of a great protector as far as I’m concerned). It’s so good that I didn’t hesitate to order another one after the first cracked from a fall. The fall was only about 6 inches on to my quartz countertop, but in trying to catch it, I think it slammed it harder than it would have if I had just let it land naturally. Either way, I felt naked waiting on the second protector. I would have ordered a couple more to have on deck if needed, but they’re not cheap. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone wanting an invisible glass protector. I did get a couple specks of dust under the first one I installed, but I just lifted up edge and tapped the spot with the dust removal sticker and let the protector back down and it was literally perfect.

I cannot say that the slight bump the phone took would have caused any previously owned (different manufacturers) screen protectors from cracking, it could have simply been the angle. However less than 24 hours of the protector being on, the rather thick beveled edge of the protector is cracked. Will see how responsive the company is on the replacement. The rather think border around its edge, while designed to provided extra protection, was the one element I identified as most likely to fail early, during installation.

This looked absolutely stunning when I first put it on. I was extremely pleased with everything about it, the finish was perfect, and the template for installation made it very easy for me to get on without any bubbles. Within days however, the matte finish has started to smooth and turn glossy in frequently used locations on the phone, such as at the base where "swipe up" happens, and near the middle, where I swipe to change screens. I at first thought that this might be from skin oil, and used a microfiber cloth to try and gently clean the screen protector, but it had no effect. I can't really recommend this given how quickly the quality of the matte finish degraded after only a few days.

UPDATE:Removed my speck case to fully clean my phone and while putting the phone back in the speck case the screen protechtor cracked from the bottom left to the top of the screen on the right side. Lowering to 1 star, if this will break while putting the phone into a case this will not protect your phone.ORIGINAL Review :This item looks great and looks durable however I am having an issue where the screen does not seem to respond when I touch it, it is like the screen is no longer as responsive as it was without the screen protector. I have had other screen protectors that do not behave in this way so I am going to purchase another one maybe I will go back to Zagg shield never had issues with theirs.

I loved this protector but the matte finish has worn off on a fair amount of the screen. It looks dirty and shiny now which defeats the purpose of the anti glare finish. A 2 pack for the price would’ve been a 4 star review but I’m really disappointed the finish wore off like this after 2 weeks.

Literally 2 seconds after removing the original plastic from a new iphone, I started trying to place this screen protector. No amount of smoothing or rubbing removed the air bubbles from below this screen. Even when you manage to get one to disappear, 30 seconds later, it re-appears. I've NEVER had a screen protector that allowed air bubbles to reform once you get them out. To my eye, this protector may be slightly too large for the xs max screen and that may be allowing air to seep in. Don't know for sure except I now have more small and large bubbles below the glass and 5 minutes after doing nothing but typing this.And as one reviewer said - not a scrap of anything indicating a recommended method for installing.

Easy to install should be a solid 10!I have installed many, many screen protectors on phones and tablets. I feel that I am quite good at the process by now. But this neat little applicator tool they give you is amazing. I am a tad bit OCD when it comes to having the cover straight with zero bubbles. I used the applicator tool, which just clicks down over your phone, you lay the screen protector inside the opening and press down, smoothing out any bubbles. That's it!! My screen protector is perfect straight on my phone, the camera and speaker are not partially covered, its was awesome!Highly recommend this system.

I’ve used this screen protector about 2 months, I’ve installed this screen protector flawlessly.The screen is a matte finish so it doesn’t leave fingerprints. I don’t see any bubbles on the screen and clarity is ok.The only issue i have with this protect is that the bottom left corner of my screen protector is scratched and starting to chip. I have never dropped my phone and the phone is usually either in my pocket or on a deskThe screen protector I installed 2 years ago on my iphone 7+ is still completely clean and does not have any chips in itI know this is a product issue so its unfortunate. I like the touch of the screen protector but I was expecting to get at least 1 year out of it.... from the looks of it I probably need to swap it out in around 2 months

At first I loved this item, it was one of the only matte finish screen protectors I could find at the time for this phone. After only 10 days the glue started to let go in one corner and down one of the sides. I’ve waited hoping it would stop progressing,but it’s still getting worse. I’ve had to buy something else to replace it. Not happy!!

For the price and ease of application, this screen protector easily gets 5 stars. If choosing the non-reflective version keep in mind the colours in your screen will change slightly, giving them a little more contrast. I like the look.

I had my phone and keys in my pocket and it chipped the screen protector....a week after I put it on.
