Perfect fit amateur matches

I bought this head gear in preparation for my black belt test. The ones at the dojo are ill fitting and slide around my head with every touch despite how tight I secure them, very distracting. This head gear does not move at all, isn't bulky and my peripheral vision was decent. All around good value.

The headgear looks good , it arrived before 2 weeks, only one thing I noticed about this headgear is it is so tight that when taking it off after wearing it you will notice some red lines on your head because of her tightness but it is light and i feel that i can move and slip pretty well while using it i think it needs time to fit to my head, still didn’t tried it in sparring will update when i do.

Doesn't feel overly heavy. Nice and light but enough cushion so that when you get caught with a good punch your glad you have it on. I feel my vision is barely compromised if at all which is important to me. The Extra Large fits perfectly over my head and I have pretty thick dreads. I spar about 3-5 times a week. mostly light but also some heavy from time to time. Been using it for about the last 4 months and it's been great! I ordered a medium one at first but returned it as it was way to small but again, I have dreads so that was pretty much my fault!

i’ve been using them for about 2 months now and it’s holding up nicely and it’s nice and tightupdate 1 year later i think it’s a really good headgear for the price my but it’s time to get a new one

I received it a little over a month ago and it's been used twice to break it in for a fight this weekend and it has already torn at the buckle strap.*Update 5/17/17After headgear tore my son still wore it for his match which was 2 days later after my wife stitched it up. My plan was to get a full refund but after wearing it my son said it was more comfortable and adsorbed punches better than the Ringside he normally wears. So my logic is I'd rather have something that performs great for a little while over something that performs ok forever. So instead of refund i got replacement. I sent the gear back, it was delivered on the 13th and i received new one on the 17th! Great service. Upgrade my review from 1 to 3 stars for performance and customer service. Would be 5 if they ever switch to real leather and improve the quality.**Update 6/27/17My son just used this headgear for his match this weekend and I have to say it couldn’t have performed any better. During 3 2-minute rounds he didn’t have to adjust it not once. His opponent however adjusted his 38 times. If this doesn’t qualify as a “perfect fit” nothing does. I’m still torn on the quality and construction of this piece but performance is top notch.

This is a great headgear for competition, it’s doesn’t protect much specially not your nose so it forces you to use head movement and keep hands up but it’s a solid headgear, I suggest a size medium if you don’t know what size to get, you can make it tighter or just leave it loose, it’s a good middle point in size.
