A really fun way to teach spelling rules
My children have all had these types of books, through their school years. They help consolidate learning at home and do give the child some fun in the process. I sit with my children to work through a page - takes about 10 - 20 mins per double page. I do think they help and my children are not the best behaved, not the best in class etc...they are just normal kids, sometimes naughty, sometimes nice and sometimes just want to play. These books keep them engaged. My daughter loved this one!

Big help for spelling
My 8yr old is a tad dyslexic and avoids reading. This book helped to familiarise her with many words that she hadn't seen before. It definitely improved her spelling ability.
