Ichigo Sword from BLEACH Anime

I bought this sword to go with my costume this halloween. I was specifically looking for the 2nd shikai form of Zangetsu. (which is to say the second form ichigo's zanpakuto took in the anime) The sword i received is the 3rd shikai form of zangetsu. Instead of having a flat end of the blade just before the tang it has the curved hook to it. also it has a hilt attached to it made of plastic with a hole at the end where they tied off the cloth. Instead of just being the bare tang that it appears to have in the picture and which would be accurate to the anime.now all that aside it is a well constructed replica. With just a few points that made me knock off a star. Firstly - it has a bur at the aforementioned hook before the tang. a substantial bur that should have been filed off after they machined it. secondly the tip is either dirty or rusty at the point. The whole blade was oiled and then wrapped in plastic. the tip was stuck into a rubber triangle and then wrapped as well. i can only assume the rubber piece did this to the tip. its not so bad but its noticeably brown. I took an emery board and filed the brown away. it could have even been rust but this is supposed to be 440 stainless.all in all pleased with my purchase but would have rather gotten the item that is pictured. still giving it 4 stars for the overall quality , price , and ship time.

This sword arrived today on time but when I opened it I noticed that the sword I received was not the same swords as the one shows in the picture. The sword I received was made in Pakistan and it was not hard to know that since it has "Made in Pakistan" written on the side of the blade in big white font but I spray painted it black so it does not look as bad, the handle stripe is not white it's yellow and feels cheep but one of the big things I don't like is the hole at the end of the handle which is not on the sword in the picture. It did came with a leather sheath. Overall it's not a bad sword but the one in the pic is more accurate.

This is a real deal. i got it on thursday ordered it the previous friday. looks good feels good but look around some more and you'll see the sam sword that are 10 to 20 inches longer. I like big anime swords so i may get another one that is as long as it bankia form. as for the sword ingeneral it perfect the horror stories read about the tips ar true. mine was pertruding ont the box. the plastic tip protector was domolished and the tip of the sword is a little dinged up. but very little to notice tp you get close and personal with it. other then that this is the cheapest of the real cutting moon replicas. a great buy

for people who wants to get this sword you need to know this first.when i ordered this sword they sent me the wrong sword instead of sending me the one in the description they sent me a wooden one that was no where near the one in the description.this description:440 stainless steelleather seath41 inches longthe one i got:wooden52 inches longno seathso if you want to get this sword you need to take a risk of getting a wooden one or a steel one im now trying to see if they will send me the steel one for the wooden one the sent me.

The sword was a bit thinner in width than I imagined, but the sword itself grows on you the more you look at it.Comes with a nice leather sheath the keep it restrained.Sword was VERY sharp and a nice oil was over it, to keep it from rusting.The shine was great and overall a pretty beautiful replica of Ichigo's Zanpakutou.

its an ok blade but when i got it it was a curve in the spine and it wont come out but once you get past that its an ok blade and ite sharpens well even thoguh it was completly blunt when i got it

This sword went really well with my collection. It is really hard to find a sword like this for the price.

It's a nice enough sword, although it isn't a perfect replica, and came different than shown in the picture. I specifically bought this one because the sword came straight out from the handle in the picture, but when I received it, I saw that the blade comes back towards your hand, more like the second version of this sword, just as many of the other replica Zangetsu's out there. Also, people in the comments stated that their shipment arrived with a sword display stand along with it, whereas mine did not. Still a nice sword, don't get me wrong. It is quite sharp. It is much smaller than the actual thing, but I understand for those people that for some reason want to slice things with a 440 stainless steel blade(as 440 steel is not very strong) that it would be too heavy to use. The weight is nice. Still, I was looking for a replica of this sword. Considering sending it back.
