In A MORE POWERFUL WAY Pastor Wright gives us a clear prescription for healing which is both simple and powerful. The author believes that most diseases have spiritual roots and are the result of separation on three levels. These can be summed up as separation from God, yourself and others.All spiritual healing begins with the sick person coming into alignment with God and His Word, accepting himself or herself in right relationship to God and making peace with others. There are many spiritual blocks to healing and the most important is unforgiveness.Pastor Henry Wright emphasizes the prevention of disease and appreciates that spirit, mind and body are interconnected in this effort. A large section of this book is devoted to a discussion of individual diseases and their respective spiritual root causes.

If you are one of the many people I know that believe there are Divine principles behind Healing, but do not fully understand how, then this book should definitely be on your reading list.Henry Wright clearly explains a brief physiology of many of the afflictions we encounter today, then goes on to describe the place that the mind and emotions play in the condition. Finally, the Author then explains what the Bible has to say about each condition. Even I can understand it.On a personal note, this book has helped the writer of this review, and friends, in understanding and overcoming conditions described in the book.WARNING: To get the full effect of the book, try to avoid the compulsion to just 'dip' into the book to read about certain conditions. The first 100-150 pages give an enormous wealth of background that one should not miss.L Smith.
