Nice product. Good results.
So far, I've used this for a week in the Maldives with the Ronin-SC. The results are better than I had expected. There is virtually no vertical bobbing although some occasional but barely noticeable micro jitters from the Ronin-SC when using this. However, I can't say for sure if the Ronin wouldn't have those micro jitters anyway without this product. And, if I hold the Ronin-SC without this Z axis carefully at an angle I get minimal vertical bobbing as well. But doing so becomes a little too cumbersome to hold the Ronin without this. The two-handled grip gives more comfort for longer recording times. I adjusted tension both arms using a hook style luggage scale which measures to 5g increments to equalize tension to 1.55kg on both arms at 90 degrees and about 2.1kg at 45 degrees. This seemed to produce good results and I might be able to tweak it more. Overall, the entire setup of Sony A6000, Sigma 16mm 450g lens, Ronin SC and this Z axis comes to 3.05kg. I'm happy with the product and results and it is well-built and very portable. It's actually easier to carry my setup one-handed with this than using it just with the Ronin. You can also change the handle directions to up, facing yourself, or down. I found up works comfortably. I will be bringing this on trips from now on.

Good for what it is, but a bit too pricey as well...
These handles replaced the stock static handles that came with my Moza Air Gimbal with remote, and they do work, as well as the stock dual handles that originally came with my unit. They do help with removing a good portion of the up/down motion and smoothing out some of that micro-jitter while walking fast/jogging during filming. During normal walking sequences, you see a bit of a benefit as well, but no more than practicing proper "ninja-walk" technique. So really, it depends on what you plan on using it for. It does help more during fast walking/slight jogging movements, but regular walking sequences, not as much.

Works great,
Worked great in a short movie we shot a few month back. I was amazed at the resulting footage.

WAY better than I expected! I'm HIGHLY recommend this with the DJI Ronin S
I have been using the DJI Ronin S with my Canon M50 as well as my Canon 1Dx Mark II for nearly a year now. I love the combination. But for longer shoots, my arm gets very tired. So I was considering on getting a dual handle bar, but then I considered getting the cheaper DigitalFoto Spring Handles for the same price, but those look bulky; and I finally decided to get the Ares Z. I'm SO HAPPY that I ended up with the Ares Z; the build quality matches that of the DJI Ronin S, which is VERY high quality! The Ares Z installs within seconds, and turning two knobs adjusts the tension (you'll need to adjust for the weight of your camera being used). The final result is that now I can hold my DJI Ronin S much longer since the weight is distributed between both hands and the additional dampening does help A LOT more than I expected. One downside, is that if I wanted to use the joystick or the home button on the DJI Ronin A, then I end up using one hand on the spring handle and the other hand on the Ronin S. NOTE: instead of installing the handle near the top of the Ronin S like in the illustration, I installed it closer to the bottom of the Ronin S so that I can hold the Ronin S handle comfortably when I want to use the Joystick. (See the photo attached to this review). So far I have used the Ares Z with the Ronin S for 5 sessions, that's over 40 hours of use, and I absolutely LOVE it. I HIGHLY recommend the Ares Z. I also recommend using the DF DIGITALFOTO Spider Hang Strap; the combination of the two allowed me to shoot 8 hour days with ease (see the photo where I am wearing the strap). I will do a video review on my YouTube channel about this soon; it's a dream combo made in heaven. FYI: I shoot Weddings and Corporate Events, under my business name dKweddings.Let me know if you have any questions! I will update this review with a video and better photos when I get a chance. (sorry I didn't clean the mirror when I took the photo, silly me!)

Works but could have been more thoughtfully designed
Seems very durable. Good quality overall in terms of materials. As for the design? I expected more thought around versatility. This is very much designed for one use case. I would have loved to see additional mounting holes at the end of the handle for example so I could use the flex arms in other configurations. The good: does what it’s designed to doThe not so good: the mounting hole “almost” fits around the motor mount on the Crane V2. It would have fit just fantastically if the mounting circle was a couple of mm wider. Would love it had there been more mounting options and just places to screw things into it for other use casesThe bad: the extra bolt which I can only guess is intended to be used to attach a clamp to, does not fit the handle. The threads on that bolt that came in the package are either wrong or messed up

Game Changer/DJI Ronin 4D Killer
I saw the DJI Ronin 4D and thought it would change the world of gimbal use, but at a cost. I already have a Zhiyung Crane 2 and love it, but as a semi-perfectionist, I don't love the bob of my own movements. I bought this, and have spent some time working on adjusting the arms, and I can say that this is the most worthwhile piece of equipment I've bought in a long time. I highly recommend this for any filmmaker that has ever tried to make smoother footage via a ninja-walk. This will take your footage to the next level, especially if you create all kinds of content.

Definitely helps!
Takes a little trial-and-error to get the tension settings just right, depending on the weight of your rig—but definitely takes a lot of vertical bounce out of shots where I’m walking with the gimbal. Nothing will eliminate it completely, but if you’re already used to “ninja walking,” adding this will get you pretty damn close.

Helps fix a big gimbal issue
A big issue with gimbals is the fact you always get the bounce wave motion when walking and you need additional axis to absorb the steps. These Z axis handles help fix thatI could see them popping off pretty easily down the road. I would recommend trying out these handleslove it!:)
