Healthy and tasty
Love these pitas. I can use one half for just 30 calories. They taste good and allow me to have an occasional sandwich type lunch. I also use one for pizza crust and it works great . I do wish that when you open a half to stuff it that one side wasn't quite so thin, but then the pita as a whole would be too thick.

Pitas and Lavosh I can eat every day — even for blood sugar control!
If low carb is important to you...this is a great product! I'm also diabetic, and these pitas do not spike my blood sugar. And they are delicious. I love big hunks of crusty bread, but it is very seldom I can treat myself. With these Joseph's pitas, and the Lavosh, I finally have excellent everyday staples. My husband is a fan, and he could eat regular bread if he wants to...but with the carbs he tries to go light. A win, win, win, all around. My orders have always arrived fresh and perfect. I keep one package out and freeze the rest. They quickly toast or bake to thaw, and crisp up perfectly when toasted for longer. So much better than any regular pita bread I've bought and frozen. Those would only last a couple days and become dry and fall apart. And even if immediately frozen, when they thaw, they fall apart even more easily. With Joseph's, the pita remain soft, pliable, and the pockets are excellent...and they have not ever fallen apart even after they have been frozen! Wow. It may sound dramatic, but Joseph's products have made a big difference in controlling my blood glucose, and the flavors and textures are excellent.

Great Macos, Good Taste, Price is OK
Price: The price itself on this bread is OK- a little high if you ask me. Taste: Fantastic taste! Great consistency and it's hard enough that it doesn't feel like you're eating rice paper. Nutrition: This is the real winner here. Have you seen the Macros on this thing? It's amazing. Low fat, low cal and lots of fiber!! If you are prepping for a fitness competition or you just want to eat a bit more healthy- this is a fantastic option to put into your meal prep routine. It'll beat anything you find in your local market and the taste is just the same. :) Which is the best part about finding something healthy to eat!

Surprised!! Really Good!!
Disappointing that they are 2 more carbs than nutritional label on Amazon page but still need to give 5 stars. I have wasted a lot of money trying to find any kind of bread-type replacement that is actually good tasting. It is the one thing I miss most when on a Keto. However, since they are large enough that I only need 1/2 for a sandwich in addition to good taste I’m going with 5 stars. Worth the carb count for low carb/Keto. Cut in half and to open pocket. I tried turkey/cheese/mayo on half last night and stuffed homemade chicken salad in half today for lunch and we’re both super good (esp chicken salad). Can’t wait to try as pizza crust next like others complimented. Pretty sure Italian sub would be great also. I do think they could be a little dry if I mayo or some other kind of dressing wasn’t added but then so are most bread items.

These pitas were very old. [Update and quick tip: buy direct from the company, not from Amazon. THe pitas are very fresh and arrive fast] I like Joseph's Pita and I ordered from Amazon because my local store had run out. When the package arrived, I checked the manufacture date. The company is quirky and uses the so-called Julian date (see *). So my date was 21003. The first two numbers are the year, so, that's fine. The next three numbers denote the sequential day of the year. That meant that they were made on January 3rd. I ordered them on March 8. They were 49 days beyond their last edible date. On the Joseph's website (see **) they say their products should be eaten within 18 days of manufacture. Also: not eligible for return! And no way to receive a refund. [UPDATE: I called Amazon Returns after the seller could not refund, and I received a full refund] * "Our product packages are stamped with a Julian date on the front of the bag that reflects the day they were baked. This is a five-digit number, i.e. 19073. The first two numbers indicate the year: 19 is for 2019. The last three numbers indicate the day of the year of the 365 days of the year: 73 is March 14." ** "Our products typically stay fresh for 18 days after the date on the package."

Great taste and versatility
These pita pockets are a must for anyone looking to eat healthier and still enjoy carbs. I learned about these through Weight Watchers and haven't been disappointed with their taste/variety of uses. I use them as traditional pita pockets, I use them as healthier pizza crusts, and I also cut them up and toast them in my air-fryer to make healthy pita chips. They are a bit thin and a bit pricey but they're worth it. The mouth feel and getting to enjoy carbs is worth it!
