Helps me not sit on my feet
I have a bad habit of twisting one leg under me and sitting on that foot. My PT told me I needed to either switch between feet to give them equal time or - the better option - stop doing it altogether. This is so far helping me to not sit on my foot. It also gives me the ability to sort of wiggle around and fidget while I’m sitting, and I think my posture is better on it.It arrived inflated and ready for sitting. This product at this time has a great big sticker on the packaging that says not to place it on wooden / finished surfaces. I imagine that was added after the furniture damage complaints.

perfect for sitting jobs
I purchased this as an alternative to a regular seat cushion for my work desk, and it's great. It came inflated to the perfect size and I have not needed to top it off after many months of use (almost a year now, I think). If I want to wiggle and fidget a little while I'm seated, this lets me bounce a little bit but still feel secure. It takes some focus to make sure you're seated in a position that keeps your back in alignment- if you tend to lean to one side it will take some getting used to- but now that I've been using this I really love it. The durability and quality feel great. It doesn't come with a pump but seems to be compatible with most types of air pumps. I haven't needed to re-inflate it yet but will update my review if anything changes.

Try it before you knock it.
Gaima has AWFUL practices. Let's start with the fact that I received a clearly used product that you are supposed to sit on. Bottom is worn, the inflation opening is scratched around the surface and the product arrived pretty heavily deflated. It seems pretty clear that somebody got the product, used it, didn't like it and returned it and Gaima then sent it to me. Extremely poor form. So, my product looks nothing like the picture because it arrive so deflated I could touch the top to the bottom. I pulled out my foot pump, attached the needle (which only by sheer persistence worked because I had to keep putting it back in the hose) and performed CPR on the pump for about 20 minutes. There must be another dimension houses within the ball because air was going out of the pump, it wasn't leaking out of the ball or the hose and the ball didn't inflate one bit. I chalked it up to being defective and tosses it back in the box with the idea in mind of returning it.Well, I bought the ball as part of a total-body physical therapy measure to both help me regain strength after my last surgery and to help me recover from my next surgery. I was farting around with some resistance bands I had and trying different exercises from different angles and I was having a rough time getting full range of motion on some quad and hip exercises because my legs were just a bit too long. I broke out the ball, plopped in on the chair and sat down. I'm not very heavy and I'm not very tall- 5'9" and 170 pounds. When I sat on the ball the air pressure caused by my weight caused it to raise in height several inches and straightened my back, extended my stomach and raised my knees so my thighs were parallel to the ground and my feet were flat. I instantly felt sore in my lower back and lower abdomen. It was working EXACTLY as it was supposed to.Curious, I then took it to my office chair, where I couldn't touch my heels to the ground unless I sat on the very front of the seat (which then causes me to slouch as my back rounds out to accommodate the downward slope of the seat) and puts pressure on my lower thighs (which hurts my knees because it causes my heels to hang). I plopped the ball down in my chair and sat on it. Again- spine goes straight, knees come up, thighs parallel to the ground, feet flat on the floor. Soreness in my lower back and lower core.Gaima's business practices aside, this thing works PERFECTLY. Give it an honest shot. I can't speak to how well it will work for much taller or shorter or much heavier people, but the ball I got is exactly the dimension I needed. Don't toss it before trying it, even if it looks lousy when you get it.Three stars because it works. Minus one for the condition it came in and the non-function of the inflation aspect and minus one for the fact Gaima clearly sent me a ball someone returned.

Using this for ADHD wiggles and for preventing lower back and hip lock up
So I'll start off by saying that I ordered two. Both came in a satisfactory amount of time and in good condition. They come with inflation needles. Sometimes when a thing with air in it travels in differing weather temperatures, it can deflate a little - or appear that way, at least. I'm grateful for the needles so I don't have to look for one in the future. That was thoughtful. Now for what I needed them for:I have ADHD. I wiggle ALOT. I am often uncomfortable sitting down for long periods of time. Alas, a lot of my hobbies and some of my sparse income relies on sitting. I'm an artist, a reader, a gamer, sometimes writer, etc. If I somehow am able focus to sit still for a long period of time, I will ignore aching limbs and wind up in a lot of pain when I finally get up. I get crazy muscle tension from any amount of stress, so being able to wiggle my hips in my seat is a BOON!I suspect my son also has ADHD. His limbs go everywhere. Knocking over stuff, precariously tipping his seat (I know most kids do this, but this kid is excessive, much like me). The wiggle seat allows him to do smaller movements, which I try to encourage instead of saying "sit still", and therefore preventing potential catastrophes from occurring - like bonked nuggets and broken action figure models he worked so hard on making. It's almost like sitting on an exercise ball. I like it. All the thumbs up.

BEST CUSHION EVER!!!!
I swear I've tried just about every kind of donut and cushion for my tail bone pain. I even tried sitting in pillows! This is the absolute BEST cushion I've ever sat on. It helps my pain SO much! I bought their ball chair several years ago and that's great too but I am short and it's too low to make it comfortable for my work station so after years of suffering, I'm so happy to have found that they make this cushion from the same material. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! :)
