This is one of the best versions I've seen if you want the full, original poem and like traditional imagery. It's really lovely, a great size too - a little bigger than I thought it would be! The cover is slightly padded and feels soft. Can't wait to read it to my daughter for her first Christmas Eve!

This famous poem has been a family favourite for many years so wanted to buy a new copy for our soon to be 3 year old grandson. He loves books of all shapes and sizes so I chose this copy that he could look thru himself. The quality is superb! The back and front covers have a padded feel and the inner board pages are strong and durable, so will be enjoyed for many years to come. I’m glad I chose the original version (complete with the reference to St Nick smoking a pipe!), as the illustrations are beautiful, particularly the face of Father Christmas, who I should think is how we most imagine him to be! All in all I cannot praise this book enough....a wonderful purchase!

Bought for our 9 month old grandson and pleased with the quality of this book. Lovely illustrations and looking forward to reading this with him at Christmas as we did with his Daddy. Hope it becomes a favourite. Delivery very quick so no complaints.

Bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas and can't wait to read it to her. The book cover is padded on top and is good quality. The illustrations are lovely and match the poem. An ace book which I really recommend.

It is a Classic. Many generations of people read this story on Christmas Eve. to their children or Grandchildren. I purchased it for my Grandson last year, and he loved it. And I purchased the hard book, which I think is the best, because it will last from generation to generation, it can be passed down. It is so hard the cover, it will last for a long, long time. And the pages, and the color pictures are beautifully done. I decided to purchase a second book this year, so I can have a copy here at my house for my son-in-law to read it to my Grandson, while everyone listens to the story as well.

Love this edition for kids to keep forever.
