Works great, but SO tight!
It keeps my hair dry really well. I have not tried submerging with it on yet, just laps. Very stretchy, easy on &off, and easy clean up. Well worth the money if you're trying to protect your hair.I will say that this is the tightest thing I've had on my head since the day I was born - literally! I realize that's part of how it works, but it squishes my forehead down it's so bad. I can tolerate it for about 10mins & I'm sincerely hoping it loosens up eventually. For reference, I have an average sized head with zero issues finding hats to fit me - so it's not how big my head is.

Very solid so far, but havent worn box braids in it
Hi, this is my first review for this cap. I am currently taking swimming classes at my local YMCA. I have a lot of big natural hair and occasionally wear box braids or other styles with a lot of bulky fake hair etc. I got this cap because the swimming school requires everyone to wear a swim cap and i actually wanted to keep my hair dry. The stretch is pretty solid so far but I have only been wearing it on my natural hair and in four large plaits (braids) that I do. I have been watching some videos to finds ways to not wet any of my hair but haven't found a successful way yet. I think this cap does good to keep most of my hair dry but the lower kitchen area (nape of neck) gets wet and I think my edges get wet a little bit but I am not 100% sure especially since I have high porosity hair and it takes a bit for my hair to retain water. Anyways, for the price and quick shipping I think this is good so far. I have only had 2 lessons so far. I will try to update this review as I take more lessons but it will be a few weeks until then as I learn to submerge my head underwater while in class. (I am new new to swimming and nervous about getting under water). but overall I am satisfied with this purchase. I hope this information makes sense. I will also try to take some photos and videos. Once I get some box braids, I will really put this to the test. good luck to all the new swimmers too.

My husband loves it
He has dreads and he snorkeled in the ocean very minimal hair wetting I think he said only the tips of his head got wet apples to the entire dreads being soaked.

Protected my Locs
Swimcap protected my hair throughout my swim class. I purchased an XL because my locs are just above my hips. Excellent fit.

Great product!
This is the only swim cap for locs that has ever fit me, even when my locs were shorter. I have nearly waist length locs, and this fit perfectly. It is a little tight around the band of my head but, I’m sure it will not allow any water to get through. I don’t think my ears will fit but, I’ll try again.***UPDATE*** So I’ve used this cap once since my purchase, and my hair got partially wet, and I’m not sure how. The fit was snug around my entire head so this is puzzling. Only the scalp of the back of my head got wet, so I’m not sure if I discard it.

It works!
I love it, it kept my hair dry while running after my kids at a waterpark! There was water everywhere! Pools, lazy rivers, water buckets, slides big and small…and yet this cap didn’t slide off and kept my hair dry through all of that! What more could I ask for?

Need to wear properly to avoid water getting in but is not waterproof as I’d hoped.

Keeps Hair Dry!
I have thick, a little longer than shoulder-length hair with bangs. I made a high ponytail and tucked all my strays into a size large, bangs, too, and followed the directions for pushing the air out. I’m sure I looked ridiculous (swim goggles over the cap) but my hair stayed completely dry, even my bangs. For a daily swim regimen this cap is awesome.

Couvre toute la tête mais …
Pratique pour les braids, faux locs ou autre mais une fois sous l’eau, ça peut rentrer donc si vous pensez garder vos cheveux au sec, c’est faux.

Svenska: Jag har 1 meter långa dreads och i denna badbössa, stl XL, simmade de runt och det gick t ex inte att dyka pga av all luft inne i mössan. Om man lägger sina 1 meter långa dreads i en knut på huvudet så behövs inte stl XL. Har ej provat mindre storlek. Höll håret torrt och var lätt att sätta på, bara alltför stor.English: I have dreads 3 feet long and in this swimming cap, size XL, left to much room och I couldn't dive because of all the air inside the cap. If you put your 3 feet long dreads in a bun on top of your head you don't need size XL. I haven't tried smaller size. Kept hair dry and was easy to put on, just too big.
