I prefer this to the Rode VXLR+
Compared to the Rode, this has a MUCH hotter signal which allows you to use it with less gain and therefore in my experience, less noise. This alone IMO is worth it.The bass EQ cut isn't a big deal, it does make speech clearer with the sort of mics you're likely to use for this application and you can undo it in post or with a software EQ.It's built perfectly well, although definitely not as solid as the Rode, but I've never had an issue with it over the last couple of years now, so definitely recommended. This would definitely be my choice for an adaptor of this type

Works as intended with my mod mic and Rodecaster pro 2 until I upgrade.
Works fine with my Modmic and Rodecaster pro 2. This will do until I upgrade to a full on XLR mic

For TRS to TRRS this does the job.
Read mixed reviews on this.. but adding in my thoughts.Bought this to replace the RODE VXLR+ as the contacts with a TRS 3.5MM PLUG without a locking screw into the VXLR+'s 3.5 port is VERY temperamental and crackles if touched.(MAY BE I HAVE A FAULTY ADAPTER THOUGH)This Antlion adapter works PERFECTLY.. even test wiggling both ends has no issues. The added boost to audio level this supplies also benefits the end quality with a reduced gain required on the mic end or the camera input end.

Perfect for connecting headset microphone to mixer or audio interface
Worked perfectly for connecting my Sennheiser Game One headset with my Mixer/Audio Interface - originally ordered as the Rode VXLR+ was out of stock but they do exactly the same thing. Antlion have a great blog post talking through why they created this adapter, it’s worth a read if you can’t decide between the Antlion and the Rode

Does What It Says
I bought the GDL-3220 so that I could use my Rode Lavier microphone with the 48-volt phantom XLR inputs on my Mackie Onyx Blackjack recording interface. The GDL-3220 worked exactly as expected and the Rode microphone is now working perfectly with a very clean sound and no detectable noise from the GDL-3220.

My mod if works great now with Axe I/O interface. Highly recommend this product
My 3.5mm mics were too quiet for my interface to pickup even at max Gain. I have an Axe I/O interface. This allowed me to turn on phantom power and get a proper signal from my mod Mic. Also tested with a Logitech Pro X headset with splitter. My friends hear me perfectly at minimum Gain. This is a great product that solved a very niche problem for me. The $50 modmic Uni+ $25 for this is far more economic for someone who doesn’t want the hassle of a costly boom setup to game and enjoy quality headphones. (Make sure your Audio Interface supports 48Volt Phantom Power)

Super adapter
