Product description
Biteback’s Mudbar cream has been developed to help protect the legs and heels of horses which have been exposed to mud and rain. If left wet, the skin’s natural barrier function can be compromised and the legs become susceptible to infections – the conditions known as ‘mud fever’ and ‘rain scald’, where scabs and sores appear. Gentle and easy to apply, Mudbar cream enhances the skin’s waterproof barrier function as well as promoting hair re-growth and soothing any sores. It can therefore be used as a preventative measure during periods when the legs are frequently wet or muddy. We recommend massaging into skin twice a day. Ideal for sensitive skin. If the skin is already broken and scabby, we recommend starting with the other product in the Mudbar range – Mudbar Plus – which revitalises damaged skin. Biteback also make an antiseptic drying powder ‘Flowers & Zinc’ which helps get the scabby areas thoroughly dry before treating. Handmade in the UK with safe, trusted ingredients. Very happy I have to parsons dogs who are just doing ...
Very happy I have to parsons dogs who are just doing there stuff running In ditches and woods get hot and stings and rash even after brushing or cleaning them it takes good when applied only as thinly as you can.was very good for one the dogs had in gearbox oil his coat been laying in it not good came back white like when he was a puppy would recommend this product. Can't write much more only its good.

Useful product
This Mudbar product was bought for a friend who has three horses. She has found it very beneficial to use on them with all the wet weather we have had recently. She would recommend it.
